After Elizabeth left, Dexter retracted his suit and left the arena.
Angela was so elated by Dexter's performance that she went up to him and hugged him.
"Um..Mrs Angela?" Dexter said weirded out by the huge.
Angela released him from the huge and cleared her throat before going on to say,
"I am very impressed by you performance today, I didn't know the suit was that powerful."
Dexter scratched the back of his neck as he said, " It was just a few things I added this afternoon."
Angela just nodded and talked to him about some other things.
While they were in the middle of their conversation Patrick walked over with Elizabeth in tow.
"So Dexter I heard you were the one that created the suit and I would love for you to partner with our facility, that is if Angela is ok with it." Patrick said.
"I am perfectly ok with it, but if we ever need funds I hope we can look to you guys for help."
Patrick nodded and looked at Dexter, "So would you like to partner with our facility?"
Dexter felt like he was so lucky, he was wondering how he would get the materials to create the laser tech, he was planning on asking Angela again but it seems like that problem had already sorted it self out.
"I would love to partner with you facility, but on one condition, I would be involved in the laser tech project." Dexter proposed.
"Of course you can participate in the project, infact we would even make you lead Researcher of the project." Patrick said with a smile.
Elizabeth was shocked by her father's proposal, that was a project that they had invested lots of dollars into and he was just handing it over to a teen.
Even Angela was shocked, but no one knew what was going through Patrick's mind, he believed that for the fact that Dexter proposed to be part of the project he might have had a solution for the laser tech project, that was why he even offered to make him the head researcher.
No one knew better than him the amount of money he had put into this project and he needed a turn around.
"Ok Mr Patrick I would come by later to join in on the project." Dexter said as he turned to leave.
When Patrick saw Dexter was about to leave he immediately stopped him.
"I would like to introduce you to my daughter, you two may have already met but I would like to introduce you to her formally, she would also be involved in the project."
Elizabeth was surprised by her father's words, she had offered before to join in on the project but her father turned her down, stating she was better at combat than research, now he is suddenly involving her in the project.
She knew her dad just wanted to get her closer to Dexter but she didn't say anything she just kept quiet because she to wanted to know more about this Dexter.
Angela seemed to notice the changes on the face of Elizabeth, it was only for a moment but Angela noticed it.
Dexter to also noticed it, but he didn't care, after a few extra pleasantries, Dexter and Angela left.
In the car back to the facility, Angela decided to ask about the whole laser tech project thing,
"So why did you chose to partner with them on laser tech?"
"I just had a little inspiration that's all." Dexter answered nonchalantly.
"Ok," Angela said then paused, it seemed like she was hesitant to say something.
Dexter seemed to notice and said, "Just spit it out what you want to say."
"Ok, did you notice how Elizabeth acted when Patrick said she was also going to be involved in the project."
"Yeah, and?" Dexter asked hoping she would continue.
"I think Patrick was trying to get his daughter closer to you."
Dexter already knew this and he didn't care.
"Whatever he is trying to do I don't care." Dexter said.
"You are not infatuated by her in the slightest." Angela asked.
"No I don't like girls that are older than me." Dexter answered.
"She is only two years older than you!" Angela said.
Dexter didn't care and just shrugged and faced the window.
Angela seemed to realized he was not in the mood to talk and kept quiet on the ride to the facility.
Dexter went straight to his room after they arrived at the facility.
"Let me look at the rewards I got for that Major task."
Dexter then looked at the interface,
