Chapter 14 - Chapter 15

The spell that keeps Muggles away doesn't make objects disappear. Instead, it adjusts human perception—light, sound, and vision—to conceal objects, making people subconsciously ignore whatever is hidden.

Such a spell might fool ordinary people, but it could never deceive the world's top agents trained with exceptional rigor, nor any advanced instruments. Elite agents possess astonishing observational ability and strong willpower—extremely difficult to deceive. And precision instruments are even less likely to be fooled. As long as the two work together, cracking such a simple spell would be effortless.

Natasha knew nothing about this, nor did she care. Her mind was completely filled with the magical power of Lu Yi's previous words.

Those two words held a strange charm she couldn't ignore.

If what he said was true, then this was really interesting. Perhaps magic truly existed in this world.

What a headache!

Natasha felt troubled. Her mission here was completely different—to gather any intelligence on Lu Yi that might appear, analyze his personality and his weaknesses.

Analyzing personality was fine. But analyzing Lu Yi's weaknesses? That, she really couldn't do.

His displayed intelligence was already near perfect, and now there was another form of magic to investigate.

How were they supposed to proceed?

I have a bad feeling this mission might fail. Could the great Black Widow really stumble here? But hold on—how did he even know my name?

Natasha had many thoughts racing through her mind—but it all happened in an instant, and Lu Yi didn't even notice.

"I am indeed here to deliver your items. The President approved your request and entrusted us at S.H.I.E.L.D. to transport what you need. The goods are in the truck outside."

"Oh?"

Lu Yi turned to look at the truck, and his eyes—imbued with extraordinary x-ray vision—opened wide. He clearly saw everything he wanted.

Through his supernatural vision, everything inside the container was visible.

Hundreds of hard drives and nearly ten tons of mineral blocks. Everything he wanted. Lu Yi was delighted.

"Excellent. Bring the truck in."

"The truck? Bring it in?" Natasha's headache returned. She wasn't sure if she had misheard or if Lu Yi had misspoken.

She admitted that Lu Yi's house was not small—but it definitely couldn't fit a truck, let alone drive one inside.

"Don't worry. You didn't mishear, and I didn't misspeak. Just have the truck drive toward the entrance slowly. Leave the rest to me."

Though Natasha was puzzled by Lu Yi's strange methods, given what she had already learned about him, she didn't dare question further. She used her communicator to tell Coulson to personally drive the truck to the entrance.

No matter what Lu Yi planned to do, she needed someone sharp to document everything—and Coulson was clearly the best choice.

Coulson understood this too. Without hesitation, he drove the truck slowly toward where Lu Yi and Natasha were.

As the truck crawled closer, Coulson felt a slight sense of relief—but also a deeper unease at what might happen next.

Finally, the truck reached the door.

The mystery was about to unfold, and Coulson felt his heart sink.

"What do we do now?" Coulson leaned his head out of the window and asked Lu Yi, who was already standing before him.

"Keep driving. Don't worry about anything. And don't be afraid."

Coulson was confused, but didn't stop. The truck inched forward—almost about to hit the door frame.

Then, something miraculous happened.

The truck didn't crash into the frame. As it approached, the truck began to warp under the influence of some magical force. The front compressed and twisted—like jelly.

"My god!"

Even the usually composed Natasha couldn't believe her eyes. Her rosy lips opened into an "O" shape as she let out an involuntary scream.

It was a beautiful scream. I wonder if it sounds that good in bed too, Lu Yi thought wickedly.

But these were mysteries for another time.

Right now, Lu Yi had no time for that. While controlling the distortion of the truck, he was also enjoying Natasha's stunned expression.

He certainly didn't want his house blown apart by a truck.

A few seconds later, it was done.

"As per protocol, I need to complete the handover procedure to avoid unnecessary complications. May I come inside as a guest?"

Natasha hadn't forgotten her mission. She quickly recovered from the shock, put on a charming smile, and asked.

"Of course."

Lu Yi stepped aside politely, and Natasha walked into his house with a warm, spring-breeze-like smile.

"What… is this?"

The moment Natasha stepped in, she froze. The smile vanished from her face, replaced by pure shock.

She stood motionless—like a statue—just like Coulson, still in the truck behind her.

What did they see?

They saw a grassland.

Yes, you read that right—a grassland.

Green grass spreading endlessly. The sweet scent of fresh grass in the air. A warm breeze brushing past her hair. Sunlight cascading from above. Everything confirmed one thing—

This was a real grassland.

Not a painting. Not a visual effect. Not a 3D projection.

If you'd like this adapted into more fluent narrative English (more like a novel, less literal), I can polish it further.
