Chapter 4 - Promises, decisions and judgment to the new beginning: part one

Somewhere in the plains of the forbidden realm stood a huge palace that stretched through the plains like a small town. It had tall towers and many buildings fit for a whole bloodline of a family to live in. In the kitchen area, sky was cooking in her human for, she wore a maid's outfit and a white apron that contained drawings of many birds flying through branches. She hummed as she stirred the hot boiling stew, she scooped a little potion of the stew using her soup ladle and sipped a taste. "Mmmmmh.... tasty, it's almost done, thick and spicy just the way her majesty likes". Then she put the ladle down and let the soup to boil a little, "Speaking of her majesty, she's pretty late this time, I wonder if she got the chance to talk with him as it has been a long time before he left and her majesty was pretty lonely before he arrived, but when she got a vision about his arrival last week, she really was excited but rather too excited if I say so myself...." in a worried tone, "Is it too early for caring a child? or....." but she brushed of her thoughts with a laugh, "No reason for worrying about that anymore, its her majesty's choice after all, it is important to try new things isn't."

As she continued talking to herself a huge explosion was heard outside the palace's courtyard, "Ah, that must be them right now." Then she removed the food from the cooker and placed it on the table and removed her apron and hanged it hangers on one of the shelves. She then dashed out of the kitchen towards an open window where she jumped and transformed into a sparrow, flying towards the courtyard and transformed back into a human landing and she bowed to greet her expected guests, "Welcome home your majesty," raising her head to look at them, "You should be hungry at the moment I presume and I hope you behaved yourself your majesty and didn't do anything unreasona-" she screamed by surprise on what Mona was doing to Loid.

Coughing from the dust that was caused by their landing, Mona was sitting on top of Loid who was heavily exhausted, "Ouch!" she screamed in pain, "I didn't expect the landing to be that bad..." Loid who tried pushing her off from his body in annoyance, "Don't ouch me, you said that the machine was completely safe.... but at least we arrived early, so.... can you get off me already."

Still insisting on sitting on top of him, "Yeah! getting home early was the most important thing, but..." in a blushful manner, "It's not like I'm that heavy." Holding her and kicking her off, "No, YOU-ARE-HEAVY."

Sky stood silently looking at them with annoyance, "Hey...." but was only ignored by them. Mona tried getting up and her expression was full of annoyance, "Hey! that actually hurt you know?... didn't I tell you earlier to treat a woman better, more so a woman of high class like me."

Almost giggling by the claim she made, "That's so funny of you to even classify yourself like that, like do you actually think a woman of high class would actually be so careless and reckless like yourself?" looking away from her with a disgust expression, "If that's the way you see it, then your mother has completely faile-". She cut him off before he could finish his sentence by covering his mouth with her finger. She looked rather annoyed and irritated by him, "Hey.... that's not pretty nice isn't it?" her words became louder as she slowly bubbled anger in her words, "The only important thing was to arrive home before dark was it?"

Sky who was also bubbling her anger in the background, "Hey...." and yet she was still ignored by the erupted Mona who was talking back at Loid, "Who told you that you could talk to me like that! even if we made an alliance together it didn't mean you could start talking bad about me, I'm still in charge of my own decisions so, never again talk bad about her again-". Filled with rage, Sky shut Mona up in by hitting her own her head, "You two have ignored me for long enough, like what the hell?!!". Trying to rub the pain off her forehead, "Ouch!" retaining her cool back, "Oh... Hi there sky."

Still poking her with her fingers on her forehead, "Don't hi there sky me your majesty, you are late, bruised and dirty, both of you. I thought you promised you would be more careful this time, but what do we have here, a dirty master who doesn't have a care in the world," In a tearful manner, "Even the other celestials know how much I've struggled take caring of you but it seems, sob.... It all led to nothing."

In an embarrassed manner, Mona tried comforting her, "Don't worry about it, I'm perfectly fine." In a loud voice, Sky answered with annoyance, "Perfectly fine my ass! even Delluvain clearly said that you were too careless and don't actually give a fuck about your surroundings, and don't tell me you actually used the star shooter to actually get here?" Mona tried whistling the question away before ignoring the question all together.

"And you!" Sky pointed at Loid who was completely silent the whole time, "How could you act so hard towards her majesty, even if you lost your memories, it doesn't give you a reason to treat her like that!". Loid looked at her with confusion and asked a question that broke Mona into laughter, "Who were you again?".

Laughing with great amusement, Mona answered him, "Great question Loid, but I already thought you two already met before when you arrived, like don't usually relay on your sight to identify someone, just look at her, it's still the same old cute Sky." In confusion he examined Sky before remembering her, "Oh, Sky? you mean the beast that attacked me earlier? that does makes sense on why you know her, but what doesn't make sense is how her aura is completely different from before, like does transformation techniques only change the appearance of a person?"

Mona answered him by explaining that, "Because it's not a transformation technique but a transmutation." "Transmutation?" he asked in confusion. "Yes, transmutation, a more advanced technique that completely changes the basic structure of a being including their basic orgone properties, but that's a lot of more talking don't you see?".

Sky sighed before bowing again to properly introduce herself once again, "My name is Sky, her majesty's only trustworthy and loyal servant and the one who will help her in recovering your memories." Loid bowed back in acceptance of her greetings and said, "Thanks for having me, but I heard you say that I lost my memories?"

Mona quickly answered him saying, "Yeah, sorry about that.... I planned on telling you that once we entered the palace but it seems my reliable assistant has already said it." Holding his chin in a trace of thought for a second before talking, "So that explains it, huh? and that explains why I needed to know your name or perhaps give you a name...." Sky was clearly surprised by what Loid said and quickly looked at Mona before asking her, "Name? that's a surpriser, never actually knew thy majesty to actually care having a name." In amusement, Mona answered her, "Yes Sky! my name is Megami Mona, pretty cool if I say so myself huh Sky?"

Rolling her eyes, Sky answered with sarcasm, "If it seems right to you your majesty then I have no objections to it, but Delluvain, don't doubt her help even if her personality is kinda rough at some edges..." Taking the words as an insult, Mona quickly tried defended herself, "What the heck does that actually mean!!!!... but point of correction Sky, it's Nelluvain and not Delluvain."

"Delluvain... Nelluvain.... not much of a big difference or even a hard try giving him his new name my majesty," said Sky with little expression of actually caring about it. "But I thought it perfectly fits his new change," Mona said supporting herself.

Sky sighed, "As I said, if it's right with you my majesty, then I have no objections, so..... can we go inside already? the food might get cold, but before that," she covered her nose due to the smell they had, "You both reek, so could spare my little nose and both take a bath before meeting for supper."

"Fine, lets go Loid," as she held Loid's hand pulling her to the palace.

After they both finished their bath, they met at the dinning hall, it was a huge spacious room that was decorated by many paintings of birds, a huge chandelier that hung in the middle of the middle and a round table that contained the carvings of what looked like angels. They sat facing both each other and had their meals before Loid leaving first to his room to sleep which Mona showed him where it was.

"Don't leave me.... please.... you promised..." Those words rang through his head like an unwanted nightmare. His head felt heavier than usual when he woke up. He found himself in his room that was lit by the morning sunshine rays that entered through the balcony door. He rolled backwards but was caught by surprise when he found Mona smiling right next to him in bed. "Good morning Loid?, how was your night," she asked in a low comforting tone. Yawning, "Good morning Mona, it was fine thank you," he answered, "But I'm a little tired today."

Lifting her night gown to cover her breasts, "It's okay, it was a busy day for you yesterday," she told him. Loid tried not to look at her. "Yeah it was, but can I ask you a question?, why exactly are you doing here, don't you have another bedroom where you were suppose to sleep?. Standing up on top the bed to tie the knot on her night gown, the morning rays made the night gown more transparent. "Why should I have multiple bedrooms? I only slept here with you," she asked him with confusion. "You slept here with me?" he asked. "Yeah, why the red face?" she asked looking at the flustered manifestation of evil. He looked away trying to hide his face from the concerned Mona, "It's nothing, it was only a bit of a surprise to me."

In the living realm

A week had passed since Loid was banished from the living realm. The realm was slowly reviving and the chains of principles were slowly reshaping their status. In the Heavenly Court library sat Jonathan, the youngest of all the Keepers who was busy finishing his studies on the history of the universe and the laws applied in the Heavenly Court before he could fully become a Keeper of the Heavenly Court. His concentration was averted by the sudden opening of the library main door, it was Saturn, the eldest Keeper and the one in charge of research development in the whole universe. He was carrying a book with a black cover which he covered its title.

Jonathan stood up and extended his arm to greet the elder, "Good day sensei." Accepting his greetings he answered, "Good day to you to Jonathan... How are your studies going?" he asked.

"They are going great," he answered, "I'm just finishing some final walk through today and I'll be through on learning everything about this universe and the responsibilities of a Keeper so I can follow your footsteps sensei."

Saturn gave a small laughter in amusement of Jonathan's proposal, "Is that so? that's the spirit the," he said, "Looks like all your determination from when you were just six years of age paid off, now look at you ten years later, already qualified in ruling the universe.... your parents would be so proud of you."

Jonathan blushed through the praises, "Thank you sensei.... your words encourage me more," he said then looked at the book he was holding, "But can I ask sensei, what exactly are you doing here at the library?"

Saturn looked at him before he answered bluntly, "I was just returning a book that was able to complete my research on something," Jonathan raised an eyebrow, "May I ask the name of the book that was able to complete your research?"

Saturn smiled a bit as he held the book more tightly, "It's way too early for you to read this young lad, but you can ask me anything once I completely finish my research." His interest quickly peaked from what his elder said, "To early huh? and may at least ask what the book's main topic is?"

"No, you'll just have to find it yourself first like I did, but I can peek your interest a little bit more...." Saturn told him in a low tone as though he didn't want the books in the empty library to hear him. "I'm listening..." Jonathan said in a low tone to mimic his elder.

"Do you remember being who was banished to the forbidden realm last week?" he asked Jonathan. "Of course I remember, if my memory is right I think he called himself the...." holding his chin for a second, "The.... Manifestation of evil," he answered. "Yes, this book contains some information about him and some secrets on the forbidden realm..... but that won't you anyway, continue on your studies," Saturn told him before leaving Jonathan alone to continue on his studies. He walked deeper into the library before completely disappearing into the large void of book shelves. After one hour of silence, Jonathan completed his studies before leaving the library and heading to his room. The next morning Saturn was found dead in his room.
