jay's POV
As soon as I stepped into the Watson mansion I felt my breath caught ,.... nothing has changed...it was just like the old times when I used to come here ..but the situation is different ..now I am here to protect my love and to get back for every sufferings I faced...
As I entered into the dining room I saw keifer's family sitting there enjoying their breakfast...but my eyes landed on keifer...he looked caged ...he looked broken from inside...as if he had been fighting his inner self....he didn't look up at me ..I knew what he was thinking...I introduced myself...when my voice went to him I saw a sudden flinch in him,,as if he felt familiar... though he stayed in himself...I knew he would recognise me even if I change everything... because that's called love ...he truly loves me ....he excused himself and went to this room ....I saw how fragile he was,,he hadn't even properly eaten anything.....well it was not his type of breakfast...I took my permission from his relatives to start my job...I went to the kitchen when everyone was busy chatting...I brought some fried rice from home ...as I felt like he needed it ...I took some ham..I prepared salad just to his liking and putting everything in the plate I went up..
I knew which room he would choose.. ofcourse tita serina 's room ...he wanted to feel some warmth so he thought of staying in his mother's room.....as I went in I saw keifer standing beside the window..face pale expression less...I felt bad for him...I wanted to go and hug him ,.I wanted to tell him that you are not alone...as my soft heels clicked the floor he turned around...he asked me in disbelief...
"How did you know that I didn't have much in my breakfast and I want this instead of those english food ?"
I wanted to laugh loudly inteasd I just smiled through my mask ...well ofcourse you idiot...I know what you like to eat and when you haven't eaten properly...I replied with a sweet English accent...
Jay: sir ..I saw you left your food nearly untouched..as I have heard from sir Clyde that you are from Philippines so I thought of giving you some homeland food... ofcourse I researched about philipino breakfast before joining here ...I want to do my job well....
Keifer flinched again after hearing my accent...he finally looked up at me ..,his eyes lingered on me for a second long ...his eyes met mine.. something in him shifted...but soon he turned his head...
Keifer : thank you selina ...but I hope you would keep a proper distance from me ... though I didn't want to keep you but my family forced...don't come in without knocking next time ,,,and remember I have a wife ...she is my life ..my Jay Jay...I don't have any interest in others...she is the only one...I hope I have made myself clear enough..
A small smile tugged at my lips ,.,the way he called me wife made my heart flutter...I fell in love with him again...he really got the traits of tita serina...I replied softly...
Jay : sir thanks for the reminder....well I also have a husband...he is great and you know what he is very protective of me ,.,he loves me a lot ..and ofcourse I am here to support him....
Keifer looked at me impressed but didn't tell anything...I kept the breakfast and excused myself ..well now it's time to start my plan...I have to find the pen drive ...Yes the one which contains keifer's mother's will to transfer all the assets to keifer...she hid it in a safe place well ... nobody knew that except me .,.yes tita serina gave me this responsibility to look after him just before the day she died...I didn't know that it was her last words.,.well maybe she knew that kaizer would kill her ...a tear rolled down...but this time...I am here to save keifer...to fulfill the last promise of tita serina..
Keifer's POV
I don't know why but I feel like selina is very close to me ...I don't know why but when she was near me I felt like hugging her ... omg what's happening with me ...I have only jay in my life,,,,and I love her ...but Selina 's accent seemed very familiar to me ....I think I am losing my mind ...I took the plate ans started eating breakfast...but I stopped as I took my first bite ,...it's taste exactly like my Jay's cooking ...I took another bite to confirm it ...and surely it was,,, but how is this possible... selina 's cooking similar to Jay Jay 's ...well am I missing her too much ...I called edrix.
Keifer: hello edrix ...can you check Jay's location for me ....
Edrix: seriously keifer...do you know what time it is ...it's midnight here ...you called me just to check it ,,.hmmm ...fine...
After sometime
Edrix: her location at Phillipines ofcourse at her own house..... what's wrong with you keifer? Well she wouldn't go out at midnight....noone does ...
I sighed and thanked edrix but I don't know why my mind can't get out from the thought that selina reminds me of Jay Jay...but it's not possible for her to come here ...I must be overthinking...I ate my breakfast and went for a cold shower...maybe cold water can calm me down....but I still murmured....
