Jay's POV
After coming our from keifer's room I looked at the surroundings,.. after I confirmed that noone was there ...I went straight to tita Serina 's library...well she liked to read books ...she had a great personality...well I was too young at that time to understand what books she was reading...I always felt it boring...but after getting hurt by my enemies I understood what it was ...I understood the pain of loving someone unconditionally but getting humiliation in return...I entered the library after long 10 years ...it was all same...a single thing hasn't been touched...well maybe keifer worned everyone not to touch his mother's things ...I went to the desk where tita used to sit and read ...the place was very quiet...it has an amazing view from outside the window....I slightly touched those things... finally I went to the table where tita Serina used to keep all her valuable things...well at first view it would have looked like a wall but if you push slight then a table will come out ...only close people knew about the thing...and I was one of them ...I was only 5 when she showed me those....she told me to keep it a secret,...now I understand the reason behind it ...I pushed the wall and finally the table came out...it created some noise as it was untouched for 10 years ..the upper surface was dusty..I opened the secret drawer...it had a passcode... which was tita 's birthday...I opened the lower desk and found many things....a locket, pendant, bracelet, tita 's picture with her parents, keifer's childhood photo and lastly a diary...I opened the yellow page's...it was Tita Serina 's handwriting.... written clearly in Spanish...well it was one of the reasons that I learnt Spanish..,there was a story behind it...
Flashback starts
I was 5 at that time ...I used to visit Watson mansion everyday... keifer and I were best friends...we used to fight a lot but if anyone outsider dared to touch any of us ..they knew that they would be dead ...well though I had to pretend to be a boy then ... because of kaizer...I had short hair like boys and I always wore boys clothes because except tita Serina everyone knew that mariano family had a son...I was named Julian..in short june...my favourite person in Watson mansion was tita Serina...she used to love me a lot ... ofcourse I also liked her...she taught me many things..piano, mouth organ,flute ...but the most amazing part was her book collection... though I found some books boring still it attracted me ....she knew many languages... once I saw her writing in her dairy....I went there but couldn't understand the words and the language...I asked her...
Jay : tita ...what are you writing? I couldn't understand it ...
Tita Serina: well Jay Jay..I am writing in Spanish.. it's another language that I know...
Jay : omg tita ..you know so many languages..well can you teach me ...
Tita Serina: ofcourse,..come here..
That was the first time I learned Spanish but I never knew that she was teaching me Spanish because it was the key to the mysteries that happened before and after her death....
Flashback ends
I was lost deep in my though when I heard some footsteps outside....shit ... someone is coming here ...I hid the diary under my blouse and went outside...but suddenly someone spoke up making my blood cold...
Clyde: miss Selina.. what were you doing here?
Jay: well sir ..I was roaming around the mansion...as I have never seen such a big house.. suddenly I found a room here..I thought of going inside as I found it interesting....
Clyde: ( coming closer) miss Selina..do you know" curiosity kills the cat "...and I don't care to kill one more maid..I hope you won't forget our deal...and no roaming around without permission....just do your work...I hope you know the Watson beasts...
Clyde came closer ...he took a strand of my hair and started curling it..I wanted to punch and beat him so hard ...just like older times..me and keifer used to beat him because he always used to put us in trouble and run....his behaviour haven't changed a single bit,,, flirting with any girl though having a girlfriend... suddenly I heard keifer's voice...
Keifer: Selina... where is my clothes? Didn't I tell you to put it on my bed?
Thanks God keifer called me...I stepped back fast and giving a small smile I excused my self ... finally out from this awkward situation... keifer is a life saver for me ....I went towards his room running
Keifer's POV
After taking a bath I dressed myself up ... I thought of going to mom's library...on my way suddenly I saw Selina coming out from there and clyde standing beside the room..it seemed like clyde caught her Red handed...well what was she doing there? I could feel the tension in her though she sounded cool ...well she curled up her little finger as she was nervous... Wait,,,, isn't it Jay's habbit? How did Selina have the same one? Is it really a coincidence? Then I saw clyde coming closer and picking up a strand of hair from her face...I don't know why my blood boiled...I felt like he was touching something what is mine ! It's the feeling like he was touching my Jay.. suddenly I blurted out ...
Keifer:Selina... where is my clothes? Didn't I tell you to put it on my bed?
I saw Selina finally feeling relieved...she excused herself and went towards my room ...
I also went to my room.. because I have to ask her what she was doing there or maybe I need to see her infront of me...
I sat on the bad ... after sometime Selina entered and said...
Selina: sir ...you were calling me ?
Keifer: what were you doing in my mom's library ?
Selina: well sir ..I got lost ..I have never seen such a big house... before...so...
Keifer: so you only got lost in my mom's library which is barely opened? ..is this a coincidence?
Selina: (shuttering) sir ...I was a little bit interested to go there ..the room looked pretty...
I didn't know why but I stood up..I took a step forward towards her...she stepped back..I was stepping closer while she was stepping back ... until her back touched the wall ...I stepped closer till a few inches were left between us ..I bended to her ear and whispered....
Keifer: I hope this is the last time ..you go to my mom's library...if there is a next Time...mind it ..I won't save you from Clyde...and remember...I am worse than him...
I saw her breathing heavily...her heartbeat was so fast that I could even hear that ... suddenly I realised what I was even doing? I have my Jay... I looked back and told her ..
Keifer: leave for now ,.,and remember not to wander around...
Selina: ( shuttering) o....ok...sir ...I ...I will remember.,,.
She went out ...I slammed the door and hit my knuckles on the wall ...I murmured...
" What the fuck I was doing ? Why do this girl resembles Jay so much ? "
