Chapter 1 - Transported to the Inhuman World

Simon Parkers had always thought of himself as painfully ordinary. A twenty-four-year-old software engineer with an unremarkable life, he existed in the shadows of the modern world: predictable workdays, empty weekends, and a constant hum of virtual monotony. But that evening, as the rain slashed across his apartment window and the neon lights of the city blurred into liquid streaks, his life shattered.

A blinding light erupted from his computer screen, a strange shimmer that warped the air around him. He raised his hand instinctively, but the world itself seemed to dissolve beneath his fingers. His apartment, his bed, the dull hum of the server he had been debugging—all vanished in an instant.

When Simon opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the city. The air was thick with a rich, almost intoxicating scent of wild flora and damp earth. Towering trees with leaves glinting like gemstones stretched into an impossibly high canopy. Mist curled around their roots like sleeping serpents. And in the distance, the faint glimmer of a crystalline river caught the fading light of a sun that burned a strange, golden hue.

Simon's heart pounded, disbelief and awe clashing in every beat. Where am I?

Before he could even attempt to orient himself, a floating screen materialized in front of him, glowing with an ethereal light. Words formed in midair, precise and unyielding:

"SYSTEM ONLINE. INITIALIZING…

Welcome, User: Simon Parkers

World: Inhuman Realm

Class: Human

Level: 1

Core Ability: Adaptive Charisma

Special Feature: Non-Human Interaction Bonus

Objective: Survive. Evolve. Command.

Mission List Pending."

Simon's jaw dropped. He tried to speak, but his voice caught in his throat. The system—whatever it was—continued, indifferent to his astonishment.

A soft rustle drew his attention. Emerging from the shadows between the crystalline trunks was a figure of ethereal grace. An elf. Tall, slender, with hair like spun silver and eyes that gleamed like sapphires in the half-light. Her movements were fluid, predatory yet elegant, and her gaze fell upon Simon with a mixture of curiosity and amusement.

"Who… who are you?" Simon managed, his voice trembling.

The elf tilted her head, her lips curving into a faint, knowing smile. "You are not from here," she said, her voice melodic, laced with an authority that seemed to command the very air around them. "Humans rarely find their way to the forests of Aeloria without reason… or invitation."

Simon felt an odd pull in his chest, a subtle but undeniable draw toward her presence. The system flashed again, highlighting her figure in a golden aura:

"Encounter Detected: Charlotte (Elf) – Potential Ally/Target. Interaction will influence Relationship Gauge."

He swallowed hard, feeling the weight of the system's mechanics settle on his mind. This was not a dream. This was a world governed by rules he had yet to understand—and apparently, it had already assigned him metrics, objectives, and… people to engage with.

Charlotte's eyes softened as she stepped closer. "You must learn quickly," she said. "This world does not forgive the slow or the weak. Do you understand?"

Simon nodded, though uncertainty churned like a storm in his stomach. He was ordinary, untrained, unequipped. Yet a strange heat tingled in his veins, an awakening he couldn't explain. The system pulsed gently in his mind:

"Ability Activated: Adaptive Charisma – Non-human influence increased by 15%."

He felt it immediately. Words came easier, confidence radiated from his posture. He realized, with a jolt, that he could meet her gaze without fear. The pull, the tension, the subtle flirtation of dominance—it was intoxicating.

Before Simon could process further, another presence entered the clearing. A faintly shimmering figure, darker than the shadows themselves, drifted toward them. She had an allure that seemed almost dangerous, with eyes like molten gold and wings that shimmered with a translucent, forbidden glow.

"I see the system has delivered an interesting toy," the figure murmured, her voice sultry, commanding, and full of mischief. "You're new, aren't you, Simon Parkers?"

Simon's pulse raced. The system confirmed:

"Encounter Detected: Diane (Succubus) – Potential Ally/Target. Interaction will influence Relationship Gauge. Risk: High."

Charlotte's gaze sharpened, warning in its intensity. Diane's lips curved in a provocative smile, a challenge wrapped in silk and shadow. The forest itself seemed to hold its breath. Simon, ordinary human turned MC by a sudden twist of fate, realized that his journey had begun: a path littered with desire, danger, and power.

The system's final message glowed before him:

"Mission Accepted: Survive the First Encounter. Evaluate Potential Allies. Initiate Integration into Inhuman Realm."

And with that, Simon took his first tentative step into the forest, feeling the thrill and terror of the unknown intertwine. Every nerve in his body sang with anticipation—every glance, every interaction, every heartbeat mattered. This was not merely survival. This was the beginning of a world where desire, combat, and strategy were intertwined, and where Simon Parkers would either rise to command—or be consumed by the inhuman.

The forest whispered around him, alive with secrets, danger, and the faint promise of pleasure. And somewhere, deep within the shadows, eyes watched, calculating.

For Simon, the ordinary human, nothing would ever be the same again.
