Arlene's POV
The darkness outside matches the restless energy coursing through my veins. Niall is still buzzing from what we just put Warner through, and while he sleeps peacefully beside me, rest feels impossible.
Tomorrow's heist weighs on my mind, but there's something else keeping my body wired with nervous tension.
A phone buzzes somewhere in the room. I glance around, confused, before realizing it's not mine. Warner's phone lights up on the nightstand. Mischa's name flashes across the screen. I let it go to voicemail and search for my own device, eventually finding it abandoned in my studio.
Since sleep isn't happening anyway, I decide to clean up the chaos we created earlier. By the time I return to the bedroom, the shower is running. I position myself by the window and wait for him to emerge.
"Hey, you doing alright?" Warner asks, stepping out with a towel wrapped low around his hips.
