Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

For the first time since the war against Jotunheim, the golden bells of Asgard rang across every tower, every bridge, every hall. Their echo reached far beyond the city—into the Bifrost, through the branches of Yggdrasil, and into the distant realms connected to the World Tree.

Today, the Allfather had an announcement that would reshape history.

Odin stood atop the balcony of the Golden Palace in full ceremonial armor, Gungnir at his side. Frigga stood beside him, serene and radiant, holding little Roy wrapped in silver cloth. Thor lay in Odin's arms—strong for a newborn. And Loki balanced comfortably against Frigga's shoulder, yawning sleepily.

The chamber behind them was filled with nobles, warriors, diplomats, and ancient beings invited from all corners of the Nine Realms.

Odin raised his hand.

The bells silenced.

The Bifrost hummed.

All realms listened.

"Hear me, all who dwell within the Nine Realms!"

Odin's voice thundered like a storm.

"Today, we welcome not one… not two… but three new sons of Asgard."

A wave of shocked whispers spread across the audience. Even seasoned warriors were stunned—three heirs at once was unheard of.

He continued:

"My firstborn, Thor Odinson—warrior yet to rise, bearer of thunder."

The crowd erupted in cheers.

"My second son, Loki Odinson—child of magic and cunning, preserved from frost and raised in warmth."

More muted claps followed, though still respectful. Those with keen senses could tell something was unusual about Loki, but Odin's declaration was law.

Odin then stepped aside so Frigga could reveal the third child.

Silver hair caught the sunlight.Blue-diamond eyes opened for a moment.Gasps filled the balcony.

"And my youngest…" Odin announced, voice deep and resonant,"…Roy Odinson—child of unknown origin, blessed with a bloodline stronger than any I have ever witnessed."

No one dared speak. Even the wind held its breath.

Frigga lifted the infant slightly so all could see. Roy blinked curiously at the shining crowd, and the entire balcony felt a strange warmth sweep through them—peaceful, comforting, powerful.

"A blessing," someone whispered."A prophecy," another murmured."A weapon," whispered a darker voice.

The Allfather raised Gungnir high.

"From this day forth, Asgard shall protect these three princes with all its might!"

The bells rang again—deafening, triumphant.

Reactions Across the Nine Realms

The announcement spread instantly through the Bifrost and the roots of Yggdrasil.

Vanaheim

The Vanir nobles celebrated."To have three princes is a sign of new prosperity," their priests declared. "The tree of fate grows stronger."

Alfheim

The Light Elves were fascinated by Roy."A child with silver hair and starlit aura… he resembles the old celestial myths," said their queen. "Asgard's future shines bright."

Nidavellir

The Dwarven forges roared in excitement."Three princes means triple the chance to forge legendary weapons!"Some smiths began sketching designs the moment they heard Roy's name.

Midgard (Earth)

Primitive tribes saw omens in the sky—thunder, shimmering auroras, silver streaks. They would one day form legends about the "Sky Brothers."

Svartalfheim

The Dark Elves were cautious."Three heirs strengthen Asgard too much," their king hissed. "Especially a mysterious one."

Jotunheim

The Frost Giants reacted with fury."The stolen child!" they roared upon hearing Loki's name."And another outsider prince…?"Rumors spread quickly that Odin was preparing for war—or something worse.

Helheim & Niflheim

The dead whispered about the silver-haired infant."A soul not born of this world…a power that does not belong to the Nine Realms…how intriguing."

The Royal Celebration

Asgard entered a state of pure festivity.

Golden banners hung across the palace.Fountains of mead overflowed.Warriors drank, danced, and sang ballads even though the princes were far too young to understand any of it.

Frigga sat on her throne, smiling softly as she held Roy while watching Thor's crib being crowded by rowdy warriors eager to "see the thunder boy."

Loki slept peacefully, oblivious to everything.

But Roy—Roy stared at the crowd, silent, studying every color, every aura, every feeling around him.Even as a baby, he seemed… aware.

Frigga noticed.

She whispered to Odin,"He watches everything."

Odin nodded seriously."Yes. The child is more than he appears."

Yet even he, the Allfather, could not foresee how true those words were.
