Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

One month passed since the golden bells of Asgard announced the birth of the three princes. The palace had returned to its usual rhythm—guards patrolled, scholars whispered, and Odin busied himself with realm affairs. But inside the quiet nursery, something far more extraordinary was about to happen.

Roy slept peacefully in his crib, silver hair spread like starlight across the blankets.

And then—

A sudden pulse echoed in his mind.

A surge of memories.

A life that wasn't Asgardian.A world with machines, screens, work… exhaustion.

The life of Alex, who worked himself to death—alone, tired, and chained to endless responsibilities. His only joy had been games, anime, movies—his escape from the cruel reality of adulthood.

Roy's tiny body tensed.

Faces flashed before him.Offices. Streets. Bed. Darkness.

And then—A final snap of consciousness.

"...I died. From overwork."

He blinked rapidly, heart racing.

He remembered everything.

Who he was.Where he came from. What he loved. And how he died.

Realizing the Truth

Roy sat up, eyes wide. His surroundings were shimmering gold, carved with runic symbols. This wasn't Earth—not even close.

At first, he had assumed it was some medieval world. But the moment he saw the Bifrost during Odin's grand announcement—the prismatic bridge that split the sky—his doubts ended.

"This is the Marvel universe…"

But which one?

Movies?Comics?Games?Some chaotic fusion?

He needed answers.

And as if responding to his thoughts—

[SYSTEM BOOTING…][WELCOME, HOST.]

A transparent blue screen appeared before him.

Roy froze.Then grinned.

"The system… it's real."

Asking the Important Question

"System," Roy spoke mentally, "which version of Marvel was I reborn into?"

There was a soft chime.

[ANSWER: HOST HAS BEEN REBORN INTO THE MARVEL MOVIE WORLD.]

Roy exhaled in pure relief.

Not the comics. Not the multiverse nightmare. Not the versions where gods die like side characters.

The movie world—dangerous, yes… but predictable, survivable, winnable.

A spark of hope flickered in his chest.

"Good. Good… I can work with this."

The Beginner Package

[HOST HAS ONE UNOPENED: BEGINNER PACKAGE.]

Roy nearly jumped.

"Open it!"

Lights exploded across his vision as the package unfolded.

System Beginner Package Contents:

• Template: Shadow Monarch – Sung Jinwoo (10%)• Skill: Great Sage• Skill: Predator• Weapon: Yamato (Devil May Cry)• Summons: 4 Characters (Choose Later)

Roy almost cried with happiness.

Shadow Monarch template.Great Sage.Predator.Yamato.

This wasn't a cheat…This was a golden finger forged by the gods of power fantasy.

With Sung Jinwoo's template alone, he could rise to planetary threat. With Great Sage and Predator? He would be a walking anomaly. And Yamato—Vergil's blade—could cut dimensions themselves.

"This is insane… I actually hit the jackpot."

But excitement quickly turned into determination.

"If I want to survive the Marvel movies… I need to complete the Shadow Monarch template before the canon starts."

Thor.Loki.The Avengers.Thanos.

He couldn't remain weak.

Concealing His Power

"System," Roy asked, "can you hide my aura completely? I don't want Odin sensing anything."

[CONFIRMED. I CAN RESTRICT ALL ENERGY SIGNATURES. NO ONE MAY SENSE HOST'S POWER UNLESS PERMITTED.]

Roy nodded.

"Do it."

[DONE.]

Instantly, his presence vanished—even to himself.

Creating a Barrier

"Next—put up a barrier around the room. I don't want anyone noticing what I'm about to do."

[ABSOLUTE SILENCE BARRIER DEPLOYED.]

The air hummed faintly, then vanished.

Merging the Template

"Start merging the Shadow Monarch template."

The moment he said it, pain shot through every nerve in his tiny body.

His bones felt like they were melting. His blood turned to fire. His soul trembled.

He clamped his tiny hands into fists, teeth gritted—even though he was still a baby.

"Ghh—keep… going!"

The room flashed black.

Finally—

[TEMPLATE MERGE: 10% COMPLETE.]

A dark, calm power settled in his chest. Not active yet—just sleeping.Waiting.

Merging the Skills

"Merge Great Sage. Merge Predator."

This time the pain was lighter—more like an intense buzzing in his mind.

New instincts formed.New awareness blossomed. He felt the world sharper, clearer, deeper.

[SKILL MERGE COMPLETE.]

Roy exhaled shakily.

He was exhausted.

His eyelids drooped.

"Just… a nap…"

And before he could even finish the thought, he fell back into the crib—fast asleep, but now completely transformed.

Outside the barrier, Asgard remained peaceful—unaware that its youngest prince had just become one of the most terrifying beings to ever awaken in the Marvel universe.
