Xenia's Pov :
"Mommy mommy!See,I made this last night!"Eli say's excitedly,dragging me inside a room.
The room is black and dark and somehow feels cold.Purple light is glowing under the round bed,a large circular chandelier hangs above the bed.The room is large,luxurious and organised perfectly.
Nothing seems out of place except a side of the room that is filled with various toys for kids.
And..the scent that feels oddly familiar.
"Look mommy."Eli points towards something and i am surprised when i see a lego set twice his size.
"Did you do this Eli?"I ask crouching down to his level.
He puffs his chest and smiles pridefully."Yes,i did this all by myself mommy.I didn't take any help from daddy."
I am amazed as i inspect the lego set.
I am pretty sure that this is something that's meant for an adult.And definitely something that even an adult would find difficult.
Then does that mean Eli's IQ is already on pair with an adult?
"Our little Eli is amazing.You can even do such hard sets."I praise ruffling his hair."Did you show your daddy?"
"No i wanted mommy to see this first.Daddy isn't that important."He say's waving his hand like an adult.
"What did you just say,you brat?"Witson's voice makes me freeze in place and the smile slips from my lip's.
"Dad—Uncle!"Eli calls and i frown.
Was he just about to call him daddy?
It was probably a slip of tongue.
"I am not as important as her?Are you forgetting who is your family?"His voice sounds and footsteps reach us.
A veiny hand reaches from behind me and pinches Eli's cheek.
"Uncle!You wont understand even if i showed it to you.Mommy is more smart then you."Eli say's with a pout and i feel a cold aura imitating from behind me.
Suddenly realising that i am still crouching,i get up and turn around.
But it seems like a mistake because the moment i turn around, my breath gets caught in my throat,i come face to face with him,without any distance between us.
My heart thump's wildly at the realisation that if i move a bit then our lips will touch.
But why can't i look away from him?My eyes are wandering between his eyes and lips.Why?
His lips.. his nose..how is he so perfect?
"Your expression looks quite real.You must have some good experience huh?"He mutter's coldly snapping me out of my trance.
I return to my senses and quickly step aside,lowering my gaze.
Gosh,why was i looking at him like that?
His face might be perfect but behind that mask is nothing but an ugly monster.
"Please mind your words around Eli.Children's learn from their family.And whether i have experience or not has nothing to do with you."I say politely.
His eyes seem to turn colder at my words"What are you doing here?"
"Da-Uncle,i brought mommy here.I wanted to show her my new lego set."Eli say's stepping in front of me as if protecting me.
My heart swells with warmth seeing his little figure.
Is it because he is around the same age as my kid?Is that why i can't seem to hate him despite knowing he is related to Witson?"
I shake my head at that thought.
Nonsense,children's are as innocent as they can be.How can i be cruel enough to hate him for an adult's action's?
Moreover,how can i hate someone like Eli who is so cute so adorable so likeable and..who reminds me of my son?
"You are done showing her right?"He asks and looks at me with the disgusted gaze of seeing a lowly being."Now You.Get out of my room."
I blink."Excuse me?"
"I said get out of my room."He repeats and i frown."I am sorry,i didn't know it was your room.I wouldn't have entered if i knew."
"Uncle,why are you bullying mommy?I said i brought her here."Eli protests with his small fists slamming against Witson's long legs.
"Didn't i ask you not to call her that?Did you tell him to call you mom?"He asks me and i look up in surprise."You can ask Fiena if you want.I didn't tell him anything like that.He just started calling me mom from the moment he saw me."
He smiles coldly."What are you trying to say?That you are a perfect fit to be his mother since he called you mom from the start?"
