Chapter 22 - The Twelfth Throne

Silence engulfed the Battle Domain.

Not because the battle had ended.

But because every being capable of sensing souls had witnessed the impossible.

The Twelfth Throne...

...had awakened.

The white throne stood behind Kael, radiating neither divine light nor demonic darkness. It emitted no overwhelming pressure, no destructive aura, no elemental force.

Instead...

It felt...

Human.

The shadow seated upon it slowly lifted its head.

Its face was identical to Kael Viren's.

The same black hair.

The same golden eyes.

The same calm expression.

Even its breathing synchronized perfectly with Kael's.

For the first time since the battle began...

Asterion's composure cracked.

"No..."

His voice was barely audible.

"...Father was right."

Kael frowned.

"What is it?"

The shadow smiled.

At the exact same moment...

Kael smiled.

Both movements were perfectly synchronized.

The Moon Goddess trembled.

"It awakened..."

Flamingo's usual grin disappeared.

"I don't feel a gene..."

Harvester's shadows retreated instinctively.

> Neither do I.

Dragon Hybrid slowly lowered its head.

> That is not one of us.

Kael stared at the white throne.

"If you're not one of the eleven..."

"...then who are you?"

The shadow answered.

"I am..."

Its voice echoed directly from Kael's own soul.

"...the one who existed before the bloodlines."

Kael's heart skipped.

"What?"

The figure stood from the throne.

Every step it took caused the entire Battle Domain to ripple.

It walked toward Kael until they stood face to face.

The figure gently placed a hand on Kael's chest.

"You spent so long becoming stronger..."

"...that you forgot to ask a simple question."

Its golden eyes shone brilliantly.

"If all these powers came from others..."

"...where is your power?"

Kael's pupils contracted.

The world around him froze.

---

Far beyond the Battle Domain...

Inside the Gate...

The Civilization King slowly rose from his throne.

His crimson eyes widened for the first time in thousands of years.

"The Origin..."

He whispered.

"It actually exists."

Every commander inside the Gate lowered their heads.

The crystal giant spoke carefully.

"My King..."

"Has it awakened?"

The Civilization King slowly nodded.

"Not completely."

"But..."

"...the Human Origin has chosen its vessel."

The enormous hall fell silent.

One commander finally gathered enough courage to speak.

"But..."

"...humans possess no Sovereign Bloodline."

The Civilization King's expression became solemn.

"They don't."

"They possess something..."

"...far more dangerous."

---

Inside the Imperial Palace...

The Emperor suddenly stood.

His goblet shattered in his hand.

"So..."

His smile slowly disappeared.

"The final variable."

Every minister looked toward him in confusion.

One elderly advisor stepped forward.

"Your Majesty..."

"What has happened?"

The Emperor looked toward the mirrored sky.

"The boy..."

"...has awakened Humanity itself."

---

Within the Battle Domain...

Asterion slowly sheathed his sword.

Kael noticed.

"You're stopping?"

Asterion nodded.

"I cannot continue."

"Why?"

"Because..."

He looked directly at the white throne.

"...the battle is no longer between us."

The white figure smiled faintly.

"Wise."

Without warning—

The Battle Domain shook violently.

The Law appeared.

Not through Arbiters.

Not through Executors.

The Framework itself descended.

Countless silver equations filled the endless sky.

Every law governing existence became visible.

Gravity.

Time.

Death.

Life.

Space.

Causality.

Every universal principle took physical form.

A cold voice echoed throughout creation.

> Origin Entity confirmed.

> Emergency Protocol Zero activated.

The white figure looked upward.

"So..."

"It finally noticed me."

Kael stared in disbelief.

"The Law..."

"...is afraid?"

The white figure nodded.

"Very."

Flamingo swallowed.

"I've never heard the Law sound like that."

The Moon Goddess quietly answered.

"Because..."

"...this has never happened before."

The Law spoke again.

Its voice contained something it had never possessed.

Urgency.

> Human Origin must be erased before synchronization reaches completion.

Millions of silver spears materialized across the sky.

Every one of them pointed toward Kael.

Asterion's eyes widened.

"...Father underestimated them."

Kael tightened his grip on his sword.

"So..."

"They're finally coming for me."

The white figure shook its head.

"No."

It looked directly into Kael's eyes.

"They're coming..."

"...for us."

The first spear fell.

Then the second.

Then millions more.

The entire sky became a storm of divine judgment.

Kael stepped forward.

His eleven Avatars appeared beside him.

The independent Blade Avatar stood at his right.

The white figure stood at his left.

Rion appeared behind them, threads illuminating the darkness like stars.

Asterion silently drew his sword once more.

Kael looked at him.

"I thought you weren't my ally."

Asterion smiled bitterly.

"I'm not."

He looked toward the descending spears.

"But..."

"...if the Origin dies..."

"...then every civilization loses its future."

For the first time...

Humanity.

The Otherworld.

Independent Avatars.

And even a Prince of the Civilization Kings...

Stood on the same battlefield.

Facing a common enemy.

The Law.

The first spear struck.

Kael raised his blade.

The war for the future of existence...

Had truly begun.
