Rain lashes against Nocturne, drumming against rooftops and shattered glass. Neon flickers in puddles like fractured lightning. The city is alive with chaos, and the hunt is on.
Kael Voss moves silently across the rooftops, mask reflecting the fractured glow. Beside him, Iris Han manipulates the city's surveillance feeds, creating blind spots and digital misdirection.
"They're everywhere," Iris mutters.
"Drones, operatives, cybernetic traps… The Eclipse isn't holding back."
Kael tightens his grip on his weapons.
"Then we hunt smarter, faster, cleaner."
THE ROOFTOP CHASE
A sudden flare from a drone alerts Kael to a pursuing figure: Viktor Hale. Cybernetic enhancements glint in the neon rain.
Viktor moves with mechanical precision, almost anticipating Kael's every leap.
Kael counters, using shadows and environmental obstacles to create openings.
Sparks fly as they clash on wet rooftops, dodging exposed wires, collapsing scaffolding, and overturned vents.
Iris guides Kael remotely, disrupting drones and temporarily blinding Viktor's cybernetic vision. Kael gains a slight edge, but Viktor adapts quickly.
SELENE ENTERS THE FIELD
From across the rooftops, Selene Voss appears, her presence as fluid and lethal as Kael's.
She intercepts Eclipse operatives, clearing a path through the city chaos.
Kael and Selene fight in tandem, shadows moving in perfect synchronization.
Viktor watches from above, calculating how to isolate Kael from Selene.
Kael mutters through clenched teeth:
"She's good… too good."
Iris warns:
"Trust is a luxury you don't have right now."
ESCALATION
The Eclipse unleashes drones equipped with non-lethal electric pulses, attempting to corral Kael and Selene into traps.
Kael uses agility and precision to disable drones mid-flight.
Selene hacks city lights to blind operatives, creating chaos in their ranks.
The chase moves from rooftops to fire escapes, down narrow alleyways, and into a subway construction site.
Viktor follows relentlessly, almost too fast to see, like a ghost programmed for death.
ENDING NOTE
Kael, breathing heavily, pauses on a high rooftop overlooking the city. Rain drips down his mask.
Selene appears beside him, calm but tense:
"You can't keep fighting like this alone."
Kael responds, eyes narrowing:
"I never was alone… not entirely."
Iris's voice crackles through the comm:
"Viktor's still out there… and The Eclipse isn't finished."
Above the city, Viktor Hale observes from a distant rooftop, calculating, waiting.
