In a large hall illuminated by dim green lights. Several figures sat silently discussing among themselves. They wore hoodies in front of them were seven thrones adorned with shiny colorful crystals with the middle throne being the largest of them.
"Do you know what this meeting is all about." A red hooded figure said while looking at the hooded figure who sat next to him. The other hooded person didn't answer instead she touched her forehead then brushed her hair with her palm taking off her hood which revealed her dark purple hair, glistening orange iris, crimson lips and adorable angelic like face, which stunned not only the red hooded figure but almost everyone present.
The red hooded figure gulped hard before regaining composure .
"Flora you... you are not supposed to take of your hood until the clan master gets here."
He said worriedly.
So." She rolled her eyes nonchalantly .
" And , I am not the only one who does it, plus you just called my name, Idiot. Speaking of which, where is Kai I can't sense him anywhere didn't you tell him about this meeting." She asked as her eyes immediately turned vicious as she inched closer.
"Karu you didn't do anything to upset him did you?"
Karu was both stupefied and scared at the same time at the accusation.
He knew her temper well, each time she gets upset she totally loses it and gives any victim who happens to come in the way a beating the only one who has been able to calm her was only Kai and the clan master for some reason Karu didn't want to accept himself when speaking her voice becomes a little softer and more cute when she is angry, which made the others adore her more but that was the catalyst needed to drive Karu insane with fear.
"No I didn't ." Karu immediately denied before going into a deep thought then muttered
"But i only–."
"You did what? tell me." She snapped , her fists tightening her orange eyes burned with rage making Karu shiver." What did you say to him." She asked in a voice that demanded immediate answer as she grasped the fabric of his hoodie.
"I...i." Karu stammered trying to avoid her gaze he gulped ready to accept his fate until her hands suddenly froze before releasing him .
Karu turned his head to look at her frozen figure her fiery eyes had now became soft and also carried a hint of bashfulness, he turned narrowed his eyes to the direction she was looking at and caught a glimpse of an athletic figure who was wearing a dark hoodie and a silver face mask and a sword strapped behind him next to him was a middle aged man in white robes who excluded a profound aura. As they made their way to the upper floor, every one stood up at once and bowed slightly.
"WE WELCOME THE CLAN MASTER."
_So it is the clan master huh! and wait isn't it duhh! who am I kidding of course it would be him just walking around causing me trouble._ Karu sighed relieved that was until his eyes met her fiery gaze which gave him goosebumps she calmly walked towards him almost crossing the line of comfort she said as she inched closer and closer.
You should thank your stars you didn't do anything stupid cause if you did or even try I will crush your balls. You hear me?"
"You got it ma'am." Karu said while nodding sheepishly. Her expression became soft again as she glanced at the high floor where both men stood.
"At ease." The white robed man said before seating prompting everyone to take their seats the silver masked figure bowed before leaving the high floor then to the assembly. Just then every one bowed a gain as six figures wearing dark robes with inscribed golden patterns emerged the entire hall became silent again as each of them sat in their respective thrones. Kai strolled casually his hand buried in his right pocket until a figure blocked his path he was none other than Karu.
"Hello to you too." Kai said emotionlessly before proceeding to work past him. "You are late." Karu said coldly
"I haven't seen you around either. Still crying about yesterday?" Kai replied calmly.
You...." Karu was enraged before he could respond he was cruelly pushed aside, Kai slightly raised his brows as Flora emerged staring at Kai with no revealed expression on her face.
"As much as I would like to argue, I know you won't tell me anyway." She said feigning a depressed expression. Kai sighed loudly as this was not the first time she was doing this.
"Alright let's take a seat then I will tell you." Flora nodded as both of them took their seats. Karu shot both of them disgruntled looks before seating next to Flora who sat near Kai.
"So talk to me." Flora said gently as her sparkling orange eyes locked unto his, Kai's initial calm and nonchalant expression became calm a slight smile formed on his lips as he flicked her head gently causing her to pout in confusion.
"Fine I will tell you. When I received Karu's invitation... " Flora listened intently as he narrated the events which took place. Karu's face paled upon hearing his name but quickly calmed down when he realized Kai wasn't talking about him. In fact he was completely ignored which made him a little disappointed the large hall suddenly fell silent as one of the elders stood up then raised his hand prompting total silence inside the hall. The elder had a relatively lean body, a wrinkled face and a long neat white beard which ran from his jaw to his chest. He is Korah, the oldest of the clan elders.
"As you all know the twelve winged dragon clan has existed since the avian era and will continue to grow until our aim is fulfilled.
All of you who stand before me all have different goals waiting be fulfilled but over all these goals stand an aim which many has strived and bled to achieve since the avian era, ' peace'. Many men, women, families have been sacrificed for our cause but now will be different . Many enemies have been killed at our passing whim along with our comrades but now there is a development not just that, something that will change the entire world if in good hands.
Some of our best and legendary elites will take path of these mission. However, to ensure the efficiency of this mission some of you skilled warriors will be coming along which is why you were all summoned here. More information will be provided about your selection in the meantime prepare yourselves."
"When dragons shed their skin, there is retribution."
They said harmoniously as they bowed almost kowtowing before each of them vanished one by one until they were all gone except Kai. Kai touched his mask then knowtowed before leaving as the clan master sent him away with his eyes."
"Am i supposed to be curious." An elder with gold hair asked.
"Mind your business Rica." Kora said, " Perhaps aren't we supposed to be asking who the Trojanling is."
"Yeah who is it going to be, last time i checked Renegade hound is the best elite in the two winged red dragon organization." Rica said with gleaming eyes completely forgetting Kora's earlier rudeness as he looked at the clan master's back who was already leaving.
The clan master who had been silent for a while suddenly stopped.
"No he is not suitable for this task."
"What! Do you even know what you are talking about, Renegade hound is undoubtedly the most strongest, fastest and the best candidate in assasination tasks who else is worthy if not him." Rica shouted barely containing his anger.
"You can't talk to the clan master like that." Kora persuaded.
"Alright then who is going to be the Trojanling ." Rica said in a slightly mocking tone as he calmed slightly.
The clan master looked back with a calm and confident look on his face
"Shadow Fang from the third division of the six winged black dragon . "
The atmosphere became quiet for some moments until a an enraged Rica hollered.
"What the hell do you think you are doing! can you even think properly, among all of our strongest and worthy members you decided to choose just a low ranked elite for this mission.
Do you really care about this clan? such a useless and talentless greenhorn is going for this mission pardon me but I object."
The clan master stayed silent for a while before sighing loudly.
"You could have presented your opinion with just some simple words." He replied nonchalantly.
"Opinion?what sort of opinion are you asking for? we all believe Shadow fang is not as right choice. "Rica spat
The clan master slowly turned narrowing his eyes at Rica.
"Are you perhaps going against me." The clan master said, his tone icy. Every one cast nervous glances as they struggled against the clan master's aura . Rica quickly regained composure.
"Clan master if that is what it means then_"
While still speaking, another elder cut in. He had a bald head and was dressed in monk robes.
"Please don't mind any word he says as we all know he is such a blabbermouth."
"Hey whose side are you actually on Mura, how dare you call me that just wait till I burn you to a crisp you punny old dick." Rica cursed.
Mura was instantly enraged as steams rushed out of his nose.
Before the two could engage each other further, a silver silhouette suddenly appeared in front of them in a blink of an eye creating a shockwave that pushed both parties back. Korah stood tall with a slight smile on his face his expression was unreadable.
"I think clan master is right. "
All the elders stood petrified in shock by his bombshell of a statement , the clan masters slightly suprised too. Ignoring the fiery gaze of the other elders he walked calmly towards the clan master and made a low bow.
"Why would you want to side with me." Clan master asked a bit intrigued.
"Because I know that you have a reason but i do have a suggestion." Korah replied confidently.
"Let's hear it. "He replied with a slight smile.
"I would also like for Renegade hound to be given a chance to prove himself. " Korah declared.
"Alright. " He replied lazily before vanishing in a flash.
"You old fox, you sure know how to boot lick."Rica cheered. "The Trojanling will be his for sure"
"I wouldn't be so sure ." Mura chimed in "It has been heared that he single handedly killed an alpha werewolf by him self and even killed a vampire duke on a mission. "
"That's trash." Rica hollered "The alpha was already in the late stages of his illness which was why he was killed by him and as for the vampire duke, he was just worthless. I will make sure Renegade hound gets the Trojanling no matter what. "
And with that they all vanished except Korah who seemed to be in deep thought Suddenly his lazy expression turned into viciousness as he gritted his teeth in anger.
_That damned old fox ruined my plans._
Then suddenly his lips curled into the most evil smiles.
_ Shadow fang huh! this is gonna be interesting._ He grinned maliciously.
