Chapter 30

After Sanji and Jepack finished three cans of premium lager, Sanji left the Ten'en. Before departing, still tipsy, he drunkenly urged Jepack to run fast—saying the Navy's aura was far beyond what he could currently handle, especially one who seemed impossibly strong.

Jepack could only reassure him: relax, and if they ever met again while Sanji was searching for All Blue, he'd give him more lager.

With that, Jepack drunkenly sent Sanji away.

Because he sensed Nami and Guina were about to wake up—he didn't want Sanji seeing any beauties.

So he had to chase away the only other man on board besides himself.

Moments after Sanji left, Nami walked out wearing a bikini.

"Jepack, good morning~!"

Jepack thought to himself: Good thing I got rid of that blond kid earlier. Would've been a huge loss otherwise.

"Why are you coming out dressed like that?!!"

Jepack asked, completely stunned.

Hearing his question, Nami pouted angrily:

"It's all your fault—you left so much last night! Of course I have to come out like this to wash up."

Jepack finally understood. Then he asked about Guina.

Nami nodded her delicate chin toward the shadow behind her: "Look~ Isn't that Big Sis Guina right there?"

Guina emerged shyly, wrapped in a bathrobe.

"Why are you still covering up? Didn't that jerk explore everything last night anyway?"

Nami said, yanking the bathrobe off Guina in one swift motion.

"Nooo~ Don't~!"

Blushing deeply, Guina quickly picked up the robe and ran toward the large hot spring bathhouse.

In that brief moment, Jepack's drool nearly hit the deck—his expression as lecherous as it could get.

Visual and tactile are really two different things~

Just as Jepack was lost in thought, a white object flew at his face. His ear was yanked hard, and Nami's voice rang in his ear:

"Still looking? Guina's already gone! Wipe your drool and fix your face. You look like a boar ready to pounce right now."

Jepack grinned, suddenly scooping Nami into his arms!

"You're not afraid of the boar? Already ready, huh?"

Nami pushed him away immediately: "That's a different price!"

She ran toward the bathhouse, sticking her tongue out over her shoulder: "If you can't control Ten'en's scabbard, I'll have Big Sis Guina keep it safe with her Wado Ichimonji!"

"Nami, you've gotten pretty bold lately—daring to tease me now."

Inside the bathhouse, a beautiful scene unfolded—Guina holding a huge bubble Nami had just blown.

"Hahaha… Big Sis Guina… hahaha… it tickles!! I was wrong! I won't do it again! Mercy!"

Nami begged, squirming from the tickling.

At that moment, Jepack's voice came from outside the bathhouse door:

"We're setting sail! You two finish washing up. I'll get the ship moving first—then I'll tell you what happened!"

Guina and Nami felt the ship slowly start moving. They stopped playing, quickly rinsed off, got dressed in their rooms, and returned to the deck.

"Jepack, what's going on? Why the rush to set sail?"

Guina was the first to appear on deck and ask.

"It's nothing major—just that yesterday's incident got noticed by a passing Navy Vice Admiral. This morning Sanji came to warn us to leave quickly."

Jepack replied.

"What?! A Navy Vice Admiral?"

Nami, who had just stepped onto the deck, heard the bad news and collapsed to the ground in shock, eyes wide.

"You're kidding me, right, Jepack?!"

Still sitting on the floor, she desperately hoped he was joking.

"No, it's real. But don't worry—we shouldn't be that unlucky… looks like we really are unlucky!"

He answered halfway when he spotted the dog-head warship ahead.

"What!!! Unlucky? No way?! That ship ahead isn't the one you mentioned…?"

Nami was on the verge of tears.

"You guessed right. That's the Navy Vice Admiral looking for us from yesterday. Both of you—prepare for battle and protect yourselves."

"The way it's sailing, it's definitely coming straight for us!"

"Finished… finished… I just left Cocoyasi Village and now I'm about to get arrested?"

Nami was already babbling incoherently from fear.

"It's okay, Nami. We're not pirates—why would they arrest us?"

Guina comforted her.

"You're right, but… but… didn't we fight a bunch of Navy yesterday?"

Jepack looked calmly at the approaching dog-head warship and said:

"Those were corrupt Navy scum. We're on the side of justice. It's fine—don't worry. I've got this."

"Vessel ahead—stop immediately for routine inspection!"

A deafening voice boomed from the warship's loudspeaker.

Soon both ships stopped about five nautical miles apart, facing off. A small boat was lowered from the warship and slowly rowed toward the Ten'en.

"Looks like they're not here to arrest us. Relax, Nami—no need to be so scared. But we can't rule out a fight, so still protect yourselves."

Jepack watched the slowly approaching small boat. There were only eight Navy on board. Garp, the old man, wasn't on it—likely Vice-Captain Bogard leading the team.

When they got close, one Navy stayed to guard the small boat while the rest boarded the Ten'en.

"Are you Mr. Jepack?" Bogard asked very politely.

"That's me! May I ask what the Navy gentlemen want by boarding?" Jepack had already drawn Ten'en in advance, ready for anything.

"We passed by Orange Town and the waters near Cocoyasi earlier. We heard you saved several villages, so we came to ask about the details—and why you killed East Blue Navy personnel! Are you planning to become pirates?"

Halfway through, Bogard's tone and expression turned serious. The atmosphere grew tense.

"First—we're just a group of adventure-loving travelers. Saving villagers was just something we did on the way because we couldn't stand by. Second—shouldn't the Navy investigate what its own people did before coming to question us? Right now it feels like you're preparing to label us pirates, capture us, and use us as a show for your higher-ups."

Jepack replied seriously and righteously, a faint black aura faintly emanating from his body.

"Hahahaha~ Bogard, I told you you couldn't intimidate this kid. Let the old man handle it."

The dog-head Den Den Mushi Bogard carried suddenly rang with a powerful old man's voice. The moment it finished speaking…

A tall, broad-chested, heavily muscled old man with a scar over his left eye, blue eyes, short gray-white hair, wearing a dog-head cap and a Navy "Justice" cape, leaped from the warship and landed instantly on the Ten'en.

In his hand he held a doughnut-like pastry, munching as he strolled toward the group.
