Season 2 - Chapter 15: The Ruthless King and Tears of Light
All hell was under the vibration of that opposing energy. On the one hand, Volt as a monster king whose blackness obliterated everything, and on the other hand, Alyssa with the glowing white sword she hoped her mother (Vanissa) had brought.
The awakening of the true king
Volt turned to Alyssa, his eyes still white but his voice returned to the calm that only a father has. He stepped towards his daughter and placed his hand on her shoulder.
Volt: "Don't worry, daughter... don't be afraid. I won't be the beast that destroys the universe and turns everything to ashes. I'll be the beast that was created for one purpose... to wipe out these filth that want to ruin your lives.
In that moment, Volt took control of his force. The dark blackness around him mingled with the light of the white sword. It took on a new shape; A king with a crown of fire and wings of light. This was a power not even Lucifer had dreamed of.
The temptation of Lucifer and Julius
Volt turned to Lucifer and Julius. He used no sword, just thrust into the air with his right hand. Lucifer and Julius felt every joint in their bodies snap.
Volt: "Lucifer, Julius... I don't want to kill you. Killing you is very simple. I want to show you how small you are.
With just one glance, Volt drew out all the power Lucifer had accumulated in nine thousand years. Lucifer fell to his knees, his black wings drooping into a faint shadow. Julius was drained of all his monstrous energy and returned to the weak man he once was.
The eternal seal
Volt didn't kill him, but made another decision.
Volt: "I will not kill you, for death is a prize for you. I will imprison you inside this palace, as guardians of my throne. As long as the universe exists, you will be slaves to the shadows you wanted to rule."
Sai came up to Volt and looked at him in admiration. "Volt... you managed to control that force? I thought if you became king again, you would burn us all.
Volt: "Sai, I now have a reason to be king...protect these children."
Return to the house
Volt opened another gate, but this time it went straight back into the apple orchard. Anos and Akuto, still affected by the awakening of their powers, looked at their father in awe.
When they reached the courtyard, Vanessa was standing in front of the door. Volt went ahead and picked up the old farmer's hat on the floor and put it back on.
Volt: "Vanissa... is dinner ready? I'm so hungry, the fight with Lucifer is so tiring.
Vanessa smiled, knowing that Volt had won his biggest battle. But in the distance, in the forest, a red eye watched their home… someone still more dangerous than Lucifer.
