Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: My Max-Level Acting Skills Were Seen Through?

"Arigato, Miura-san."

Itsuki, still a bit clumsy, offered an apology and thanked her for the reminder.

Miura Yumiko looked at Itsuki's smiling expression, and after being thanked, nodded to show that she acknowledged it.

Then Itsuki fell into a state of indecision.

"Everything looks so delicious."

"Ah~ I don't know which one to choose."

Itsuki looked at the beautifully designed desserts and immediately felt a headache.

At that moment, Shiro said in an indifferent tone:

"If you don't know which one to choose, then take one of everything."

Everyone present barely managed to hold back their laughter after this.

Was he serious? Could one even eat one of everything? And wouldn't that cost a lot?

Itsuki also hesitated a little at that moment.

"Isn't that a bit too much? It looks pretty expensive."

Shiro heard this and said indifferently:

"Come on, you're a young lady, are you afraid of spending money? And I said I'm treating, which means I'm paying."

"How much could it possibly cost to eat all of this?"

Shiro couldn't help but complain at that moment.

"Honestly, people here separate things too much and care too much about etiquette. Where I'm from, when someone treats, they'd strip them clean in the end."

"After all, when someone treats, it's usually close people, so there's no need to think too much about those things, as long as it's not excessive."

After his words, several people present understood what Shiro was getting at.

"By the way, is it like that for you too?"

Kawasaki Saki asked curiously.

"Of course. We're all friends, acquaintances, and the like. When we go out together, there's no need to pay too much attention to such details; as long as it's not excessive, everyone is fine with it."

After hearing this, she thought to herself that she had learned something new.

"But there's still one problem, can we even eat that much if we order everything?"

Itsuki said casually at that moment.

Honestly, she was very tempted by Shiro's suggestion and thought that she could treat him next time anyway. She had plenty of pocket money and usually spent all her money on food.

"Don't we still have three people next to us?"

Shiro pointed at the three people in front of him with cakes, or rather, cups with cakes.

The three of them blinked their eyes at the same time when they heard this.

"Shiro, you mean us?"

"Yes, is there a problem? We're all sitting in this corner anyway, just have them bring the cart over, and whoever wants something can take it."

Yuigahama Yui was familiar with Shiro, so she understood his strange and surprising way of thinking.

But Miura Yumiko couldn't understand it.

"No, first of all, putting everything else aside, we're not that close, are we? Is it even appropriate for us to eat together?"

Miura Yumiko, the queen of socializing who was good at interacting with people, felt at that moment that Shiro was not just good at socializing, but a true social magnet.

"What does that have to do with anything? We're all from the same class, I'm just treating you to dessert."

Shiro said in an indifferent tone.

"What, do you not acknowledge that we're from the same class?"

At that moment, Shiro decisively used the tactic of provoking guilt. After hearing this, the other party could only sit there angrily and say:

"Fine, since you're treating, I don't care anymore."

Immediately after that, the waiter, with a confused expression, took the order, and when the desserts were prepared according to Shiro's instructions, they were all brought out on carts. Since it was a corner of the shop, no one was disturbed.

Shiro casually took a cup with a cake and placed it in front of himself. Looking at the familiar appearance, but only the form without the true essence and technique, he confirmed his suspicion.

It really had been designed by Alice Nakiri.

Aside from Shiro, who ate without any change in expression, everyone else looked extremely happy after eating. It was known that there was a lot of talk about the desserts here, and although the chef's skill was not top-tier, since it wasn't made by a top chef after all, it was more than enough to give them a sense of satisfaction.

After everyone was full, they realized that there was still a lot left. At that moment, they saw Shiro stop holding back and enter hunting mode, eating in big mouthfuls to finish everything. To everyone's astonishment, he ate it all in fifteen minutes.

Then, looking at everyone except Yui, who were staring at him like he was a monster, Shiro asked curiously:

"What's wrong with all of you?"

"You're asking what's wrong with us? Didn't you see what you just did?"

"That was an amount meant for several people, and you ate it all without your expression changing. Don't you think that's a serious problem? After all, that's almost half your body weight in total."

Miura Yumiko complained, seeing such a situation for the first time.

"You're making a fuss over nothing."

"I just eat a bit more when I feel like it."

As soon as he said this, everyone wanted to complain that this absolutely could not be called "a bit." However, at that moment, Itsuki said enviously:

"I really envy people who can eat whatever they want and not gain weight. I see that you ate so much, and you probably eat a lot in the evening too, but you don't gain weight at all."

For a foodie, that was the most desirable body type.

"That's natural, there's nothing that can be done about it, there's nothing to envy."

After Shiro paid the bill, he went out with the girls and they began to go their separate ways.

After all, many people had different routes home, and Shiro simply took Yui with him and left.

The two of them didn't talk much along the way, but as they walked, Yui suddenly spoke.

"Shiro, I feel like you ran into something good today, you look especially happy?"

Shiro was startled when he heard this, then asked curiously:

"How did you know?"

Hearing this, Yui immediately said in a cheerful voice:

"After all, besides Mikan, I'm the person who has spent the most time with you. So I can see it and feel it."

Shiro was stunned. He knew he hadn't shown much, and Yui usually stayed with the popular crowd. Could she still notice it?

"I have to admit, your words left me speechless. I really did experience some nice things, and I guess I won't be so bored from now on."

Yui was surprised when she heard this, and then a wide smile appeared on her face.

"Really? Then that's great."

"After all, Shiro, for more than a year now you've given off the impression that your surroundings are pretty boring to you."

"Although you usually don't show many changes, both Mikan and I can feel that you have a sense of extreme boredom toward everything around you."

"And now that feeling is gone."

Shiro was completely stunned when he heard this. He hadn't expected that his boredom—because he had power but no opportunity to use it, or because his power was growing rapidly but he couldn't fight—had been seen through by these two people. He thought he had acted it perfectly.

No, his acting was definitely perfect. After all, he had his acting skills at the maximum level. It was just that these two knew him too well, or were too close to him, so they could understand many things even without looking at his facial expression.

At that moment, Shiro reached out and ruffled Yui's hair.

"Yui, thank you for caring about me, and sorry for making you worry."

Hearing this, Yui closed her eyes, then opened them and said in a tsundere tone:

"Shiro, I'm not a child anymore."

"Also, I've always wondered why you keep calling me Tuan Zi?"

Yui Yuigahama finally asked that question. Before, when Shiro called her that, she felt a bit strange, but never asked, thinking it was because of her usual hairstyle or something similar.

However, her intuition told her it wasn't like that, and this time she took the opportunity to ask.

Shiro didn't expect that this question would come to her mind right now. He had thought that she would never ask it.
