Chapter 27 - jealousy looks good on you

Ms. Duval's fingers tightened around my throat, not enough to make me stop breathing—but enough to remind me that she held the power between us.

I should've being afraid, but instead I felt thrilled. Adrenaline rushing through my veins. Even though she was sitting, she still towered over me. 

The corner of my mouth tipped into a smile. "Are you jealous Ms. Duval?" I found myself leaning into her touch. "I mean…we're just teacher and student."

Something primal flashed across her face. "I will not ask you again. Who have you been with? Is it Charlotte? I should have you transferred to another room."

My smile was sweet. "It's not Charlotte, although I do find her very attractive." 

I don't know why I didn't think of ways to make Ms. Duval jealous before. For a woman like her, she needed to be subtly pushed in order to get her attention.

"Mary." I could hear the warning in her voice, but I wanted to see how far I could push her. 

"Yes, Ms. Duval?" I said in a sweet voice.
