Chapter 2 - Chapter 2- Whispers

After Aurora's funeral, I have noticed that sometimes when I am alone, I see Shadowy figures. The moment I turn around, they just fade away

This morning while cleaning my house I saw a box and realized that the box belonged to Aurora when i opened it their were many things:

 Her journal,

old graduation photos and a picture of me and Aurora standing under the bright sunny sky

Then something like paper' brushed against my skin

i took it out and saw a half burned letter to someone

"Don't worry i will convince her to come Tommorow and the ritual will Began shortly"

I noticed that it was dated the day when she died

As I dug deeper i found a silver pendant which had strange runes

"Aurora, what ritual are you talking about? With whom are you involved?" I whispered, holding it closer to my chest

There was no answer, just the sound of the Ceiling fan.

Before I could bury deeper into my grief, I heard a voice.

"Celestia...

I turned around, spooked out, but the room was empty

I shook my head, muttering to myself I think I might be tired, that's why

I shoved the pendant and letter inside my drawer, heart pounding. I turned off the light but sleep didn't seem to come easily

Darkness

I was standing in an endless corridor filled only with mirrors that reflected nothing. The corridor smelled damp and cold

That's when I heard a familiar voice

"Celestia.."

I ran, and footsteps echoed behind me.

Suddenly, Aurora appeared in front of me, her face pale and trembling

"Stay away from Lucian, she warned, or you'll-"

Before she could finish, something yanked her back as she screamed

I woke up with a gasp, my heart pounding, and that's when I saw it

Bloody footprints

Which started from the window and straight to my bed, the footprints were fresh as if someone had tried to take me before I woke up

I slowly got out of my bed, and a voice whispered

"You are the next little heir

I spun around

No one was there

And when I turned back towards my desk, the silver pendant was no longer there

It was lying on my pillow with a note tucked below

"Never lose this."
