This is cold, where am I.
What is that noise, I can hear it from a far, a noise of a man, so loud it can be heard from miles, yet so comforting it make me sleepy, who is he talking-no, calling ?, he's calling me, "Hey, wake up, don't you dare quit now, hey, wake up, hey,-----" it sounded like he's calling my name, but the next thing I hear is the alarm clock I have set yesterday.
Ugh, I accidentally set it too soon, I still can't set the time correctly, I guess I was too happy to receive it yesterday as a gift for my birthday, I think I have to tinker with it a bit more, I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night again. Looking out the window, it's still another 2 hours before sunrise, but I don't feel like sleeping again, I guess there is nothing else to do but tinker with the alarm clock. This is quiet the luxury to have, usually only nobles can own such thing because of their technological structure, especially the newest technology breakthrough, Wave crystal. It always vibrates consistently at the rate of 32 vibrations per second, making it the first form of perpetual machine without needing an external power. I don't know how my dad got it, but I will always be thankful for him.
An hour later, I hear footsteps from outside my room, and a sound follows, "Hey, are you awake yet?" That's the sound of my little sister, "Remember tomorrow is your first day at Wilhelm University, you have to prepare today, don't make uncle regret giving that recommendation letter for you".
"Yeah, I am already awake, don't worry, of course I remember," I said without opening the door.
I don't even realize an hour has passed already, I think I am gonna put this down for now and go downstairs.
As I head down the stairs, I can see 'that' framed calligraphy, I can't read it because it's written in an ancient language, but my dad always said the meaning of it,
"Live your life according to your purpose"
At the kitchen, my sister and my father already sit at the table while my mother is preparing the food today, when my dad sees me, he ask, "Have you found your purpose ?", he always ask this every morning for as long as I can remember, and I always say "Not yet dad", his responds are also always the same, "That's ok, as long as you try to find it".
That's always being the end of that conversation, and then he will ask something different every morning, "Have you prepared for your first day at Wilhelm?". "Yes dad, I already prepared for it, the only thing left to do today is go to the library for more information about Wilhelm University and the surrounding area," I answer him. "Good, but don't forget your intention going there," He said. "Yes, I know, to find my purpose, right ?" I answered him. "That's my boy," He said as he stroked my hair.
