Synopsis
Revan Belmont, a decorated war veteran, watches helplessly as his beloved wife Lyra succumbs to a mysterious illness that no healer can cure. After the king himself refuses his plea—unable to reverse death's approach—Revan encounters a sinister figure in maroon who offers a devil's bargain: kill one hundred souls from a cursed list, and Lyra will live.
Desperate and broken, Revan becomes "The Shadow's Scythe," a masked vigilante hunting those on the list. At first, his targets are criminals and outlaws, making him almost a hero in the city's eyes. But when he reaches the thirtieth name, the horrifying truth emerges—not all names belong to the guilty. The man in maroon demands he kill an abused child named Elias, claiming that allowing the boy to live will cause millions to die through some twisted cosmic balance.
As Revan descends deeper into darkness, each kill temporarily restores Lyra's health, chaining him to his gruesome task. He frames others for his crimes, battles guards who were once his comrades, and watches his own humanity slip away. When Kaelen, a scarred gang leader whose men Revan killed, discovers his identity, tragedy strikes in the cruelest way—Lyra is assaulted and dies regardless of Revan's sacrifices.
Betrayed, murdered, and dragged into the Shadowed Veil—a prison realm for lost souls—Revan escapes through a cataclysmic battle between supernatural beings. But freedom comes at a cost: transformed by dark forces, his body encased in black metal armor, Revan emerges as something no longer entirely human, caught between realms with his wife's spirit haunting him and madness threatening to consume what remains of his soul.
