Chapter 2 - One Month

Sun blazed in the beautiful blue sky like it got scolded by wife and was taking its heat on the world. Clouds drifting like cotton candy.

Below, the massive desert stretch as far as eyes go. Wind blowing gently and sand traveling along with it before settling down somewhere else.

At that moment, a trail could be seen parting the calm desert.

... a chase was happening. It looked like cat and mouse chase... well. More like Orca and ant chase...?

"HAAAAAAALLPPPP!!!!"

Right now, Alex was in the middle of getting chased by a Sand Orca which popped out of nowhere when he was trying to find someone in the desert for the past two days.

The Orca had its mouth wide open. Eyes wide bloodshot, fixes on the bean running infront of it. It's tounge dangled in anticipation. Wanting to taste a bean after a long time. The Orca pushed forward and chomped at Alex.

"EHHH!! MAMA HELLLLPPP!!!"

Alex jumped, barely dodging!

"Whahwhahhaha-nom!"

The Orca laughed happily hearing Alex's scream and lunged forward again. Alex barely dodged again. The Orcas mouth mudded and scattered around as it was getting impatient and started getting more aggressive.

"EEEHHHHH!!"

Alex screamed with greeted teeth. Eyes wide in horror before he remembered something!

'Wait! I could just punch this thing!'

"Hah!"

Alex longed forward like a cannonball. The air split and the sound barrier broke. Alex spun around mid air, planted both his feet into the sand and skidded back before stopping.

The gentle shockwave went past him. Blowing away his hair. Alex walked forward. He was knee deep because he skidded far. His eyes focused on the Orca that was enraged!

Wwwoooooommmm~~~

The Orca shouted and locked onto Alex and started to come over fast. Alex planted his left feet forward into the sand, slightly hunched forward pulled back his right hand. Eyes narrow.

"Your dead mamacita."

And murmured under his breath. Alex punched forward and the sound barrier bent forward before breaking. The friction generated sparks. The air sizzled around his fists.

BAAaaaMMMmMmM!!

The air split and the Orca which was few meters away had its mouth wide open got hit by the shockwave. It folded inwards before its internal organs exploded outwards.

It's massive body yanked out of the sand and dangled through the air before falling. Organs splattered everywhere. Dark green blood raning down. The shockwave parted the clouds slowly.

Alex was in punching position. Smoke slowly rising from his fists.

Eyes eyes wide with excitement and lips curled into a smug smile.

"Woohoohoo! Dauumm Dawg! That was awesome!! Fuck yeah!!"

Alex cheered excitedly. He jogged upto the Orcas body. Half of its body was gone. Only it tail was intact.

"Hehe~~ That's what you get from messing with me bitch! You wanted to eat me didn't ya? Now Imma eat you instead! Buahahaha!!"

Alex was thinking of eating the Orca for all the distress it had caused him for the past... five minutes. But when he properly looked at its body. There was nothing to eat because not only its blood was green and its organs violet, it even smelled bad. Like rotten mud.

"...Guess I will not humiliate you any further fish! Hmph! Be grateful!!"

Alex said as he pointed at the scattered organs with one hand on his hips and his expression majestic... or at least tried to.

"Goodbye fish. It was a great battle!"

Alex turned and walked slowly with dignity of a warrior. His eyes sockets shadowing his eyes as his head was down cast.

You were just too strong... A...lex.

Alex could almost hear the Orca saying its last words as a fellow warrior.

=======

Alex had been going through the desert for a month now without even a face of any civilizations. He would occasionally be attacked by some fish's or something else but none were worthy enough!!

They didn't possess the dignity of the proud Orca!! Alex still remembered the brave warrior he had battled one month prior. It was hard and decisive battle! Both betting their life on the line!! And Alex barely won!!

"Truly the strongest opponent I have faced until now..."

Every time Alex remembered the Orca he couldn't help but laminate the good days...

Today, like every other day like the past month, Alex was walking towards... nowhere. He doesn't even know where he is now. It seemed like sahara desert but with fishs inside. They literally swim the the fucking sand!! And also dive like its water!

Alex was looking around when he saw a cow munching on sand peacefully. The Cow looked at Alex as well. Both staring into each others eyes. The Cow had dried mud like skin with brown color.

Mowww!!

The Cow turned around and tried to run the other direction with an expression like it had seen a gay winking at it.

"Hai chottomattha!!"

Alex appeared beside it and hugged it with one hand by its neck. The Cow offered no resistance. It just looked at Alex with horrified eyes then averted quickly.

"Tell me what you were doing boyahh."

Alex said to the Cow. The Cow gave an awkward look before mowed.

"You think I understand boyahh?"

Alex gently slapped the Cow and it looked guilty? He let it go. The Cow didn't run.

An awkward silence stretched between them. The Cow stood awkwardly. Like couldn't decid what to do. Alex scratched his cheek. Thinking and looked around.

He noticed that the Cow was eating sand beside a cactus. And he had seen in survival shows that cactus holds water. So, like any normal person he told the Cow to wait and walked towards the cactus that seemed taller then the house he lived in.

Alex by now, has fully accepted that he wasn't on Earth and couldn't go back. Not that he wanted to!! He did a fifteen minutes break dance in happiness before a leviathan like monster sprouted out of the sand, ruining his mood.

Alex logged his fingers into the cactus and grabbed a fist full. The inside were juicy and wet. It didn't have any aroma. But Alex took a bite regardless. He hadn't putten anything other than air inside his mouth for a month anyway.

"Mmmhmhmhm!!"

Alex exclaimed happily as flavour exploded inside his mouth!!

...It tasted like grapes. He was exaggerating.

Alex continued to eat from the cactus and sometimes exclaimed, 'delicious!' 'wow!!' Ni hao!!'

The poor sand Cow couldn't take it and started eating sand as well. Alex had disturbed its lunch time after all!!

...

..

.

After Alex was done eating he walked up to the Cow, slurping his fingers.

"Alright friend. Do you know where people who look like me lives?"

Alex asked the Cow. The Cow looked at him and tilted its head, confused.

"Mow?"
