Lying on top of the hill, looking up at the night sky, Leo Blaque was watching the night star, lost in thought.
"Guess it's time, all my hard work the result will be tommorow, guess I have to give my best."
Leo Blaque stood up from his sleeping position, he summons a little firefly.
"Otom it's tommorow,I will be going for my admission into the Preston high, I might pass or fail but I will definitely achieve my goal."
The firefly buzzed close to his ears and he smiled softly.
"Well once I gain my star ability I will be able to summon you and evolve you anytime I want, so wait for me okay."
The firefly buzzed around him while he kept smiling.
The night passed out quietly, right as the sun was rising Leo Blaque was already outside his house going for an early morning run, running past some other neighbors who are already up.
"Good morning Leo!"
"Good morning miss Eida."
"Good morning Leo!"
"Good morning Mr Smith."
Leo runs past the area, and he reached the edge of an hill.
"Twenty five minutes was all it took , guess I need to work on my physical strength."
Leo summons otom.
"Hey otom, I wanted to see these with you one last time before I start going to school."
Otom buzzed close to Leo's ear and for the first time, a spark flashed across Leo's mind for a second.
What was that?, is that Otom?
He looked at Otom, but he smiled and looked at the sky.
"I guess that's the spark of my power awakening."
Leo smiled as he ran back to his house, he took his bath and he dressed up for his new school a teleportation circle appears in his room and he enters the teleportation circle his clothes was transforming into the school uniform a black and dark blue blazer with white shirts and blue pant.
"Interesting."
Suddenly he was teleported into front of a massive dome of water barrier.
"Wow that was fast."
Different students were teleported simultaneously around him, as he looked around in shock.
"I can't sense anything around me, it's like they are all physically here but their soul isn't."
Leo tried moving but he was stopped by the water dome.
"That is strange, I can see it, and I can feel it, but my instinct isn't feeling anything, like I can force myself to walk through, well it's worth a shot."
He looked around but the other students were not moving, but he only shakes his head and runs through the dome only to enter to find out he was the last student entering.
A loud mechanical voice said aloud
"Student name: Leo Blaque, student id number 4129, current rank: 1 star beginner"
A black star appeared on his hand.
"Wow so those that mean my registration is a success."
The mechanical voice replied him back swiftly
"Yes."
"Wow I don't believe it."
Suddenly an intense pressure was felt from the front forcing all the noise to die down.
"Good day students, welcome to Preston high, we are a school that admires power, courage and talent, and I know you all are happy about getting into one of the elite school but just because you are accepted in to these citadel does not mean you will not work hard, you will have to give it your best, you build friendships, build relationships among yourselves, no one can do it all alone, you need support and love from friends to become great students, as most of you are starting with just a beginner 1 star there are some among you who are already in elite stage of 1 star or already a two star holder you need to use your talent well and form the right connections alright."
"Yes sir."
"Now then let's introduce the top scorer for these year top scorer and best performer Princess Anna."
A tall, blonde hair young lady stands up, walking up to the podium.
"Hello everyone, my name is Princess Anna, I am a 2 star beginner, and just so happened to be the best among you all, don't take it personal, I am just better than most and what do I have to say, my aim is to surpass everyone and everything and reach the legendary seven star, so I hope no one hinders my growth, thank you."
The whole hall was shocked into silent.
Students begins to have different reaction.
"She is arrogant."
"But I guess when you are as strong as she is, them she might be right."
"What are you guys talking about, she is just a beginner 2 star student."
Anna heard the comment and her gaze fell on who just finished talking, and she smirks.
"I guess some of you have some problem with me, well then why don't I humor you."
The whole hall was silent.
"You, what is your name?"
She said pointing to the guy who challenged her.
"I am ed, and I am 1 star elite."
"Very well then Ed, why don't I humor you a bit."
"What are you talking about?"
"I won't move from these spot and I will give you a ten seconds head start,I won't attack or defend against any of your attack but immediately after the ten second you will be dead."
Ed walks up the stage, grinning menacingly.
"You don't have to act cocky, you are just one evolution above me."
He said as he was flashing his white one star on his neck.
"Calm down, you just challenged me, but what do I gain if I defeat you?"
"If I defeat you, you become my slave."
"And if I win, the same rule applies here."
"Fine by me."
Anna walked up to the principal.
"May we begin.
"I guess checking the strength of our noobies isn't a bad idea., you may proceed"
The principal said as he created a pocket dimension with a single snap.
"Thank you principal."
Anna said as she bows slightly.
Ed walks into the pocket dimension
"Now then master Ed, you may begin."
"Already practicing on how to call me, I don't hate that idea, now then here I come."
Ed charged straight towards Anna with a powerful punch but the moment is punch was about to land he was returned back to his original position.
The whole hall fell into deep silence.
A girl walked up to the principal.
"Isn't that boy the second strongest among the new students?"
"Yes."
"To think the gap between the best student and the runner up student is these vast I can't imagine anyone in her year causing her a trouble."
Back into the pocket dimension.
Ed was shocked.
What just happened to me, I was these close to blowing her head away, but I am back to my starting point, is these her ability?.
"What happen?, not attacking, you have seven seconds left."
Ed grinds his teeth.
"You really know how to piss me off."
"What?, can't handle being the weakling among the two of us, how pitiful."
Ed was really angry his aura becomes dense.
"I was planning to hold back as to not destroy that beautiful face of yours but right now I feel like ending your miserable life."
"Please go ahead, you have three seconds left."
Behind Ed four portal appears, in each portal various weapons was appearing from the portal.
"These is my ability: Sanctuary, the ability to give me the four most powerful weapon that can take out my enemy."
He said shooting a chain out of one of the portal, the chain wraps the lady up,Ed draws a sword as he runs towards the bundled lady with a powerful slash the sword cuts through the chain and Anna, causing her to fall.
"I did it, I won.."
"One."
Instantly the slash attack appears right on Ed's chest.
"Hm."
Everyone was shocked, the whole hall was filled with noise.
"Did you see that?"
"No."
"Is these the power of our top scorer."
Back in the pocket dimension.
Anna was dusting her uniform, while Ed just collapsed.
" Well that was that."
With a shaky voice , Ed raised his head in pain.
"What did you do?"
Anna walks straight towards him.
"I guess since you will soon be my slave, I guess I can tell you."
Ed coughs out a mouthful of blood.
"I have four different abilities, the first one is my defensive ability D8, the ability to return every attack towards me to it's initial point, the second one is my support skill Enchant, anyone who looks at me instantly haves a 80% boost in affection and you loose most will to attack me,the next two abilities are offensive and healing abilities, Calamity and Sacred Rose, calamity the ability to reflect any and all attacks that follows intent be it physical, spiritual, magical or mental attack, it will reflect it back ten times it's original effect,and Sacred Rose allows me to heal from any and all injury and I can also revive anyone who dies between 10-15 seconds."
"What!, how is that fair."
"A fight against me was never meant to be fair, it was always meant to be a one sided beat down."
She said while smiling.
Ed was furious as he punched the ground.
"Welcome my first slave, don't worry you won't be alone for too long."
The principal destroys his pocket dimension as the two were returned back to the hall.
"Now that all of you have seen the difference between our power set, I hope you don't feel bad if I defeat you."
The whole hall was silent, no one noticed Anna was staring greedily at Leo.
