Myles knew the monster wasn't just spouting madness. Every word carried real threat. Whatever that Seed he was talking about before had done, whatever this Apotheon meant, it was real and it could be dangerous enough to wipe them all out if he hesitated now.
Fear tightened his chest, but there was no path backward anymore.
Myles grit his teeth. No more holding back.
With a sharp motion, he reached into his inventory and pulled out another weapon given by the Undertaker. A curved short dagger slid into his palm, its surface swallowing light instead of reflecting it.
The blade was shorter than the Fangblade, curved shaped, and unnaturally cold against his skin.
He had never drawn this weapon before. He always believed the Fangblade alone was enough. But apparently not anymore. This fight looks like it will demand everything.
Myles narrowed his eyes and poured his focus into the dagger. His Ether brushed against its surface, and information flooded his vision.
