Ling Yu was currently unaware that the Uchiha clan had already begun secretly plotting against him—their plan was in motion.

To get to know her better, Tsunade gently pulled Ling Yu aside, took his spot on the bench, turned to Mikoto with a smile, and asked.
Though Tsunade had some reservations toward Uchiha shinobi due to clan history, she wouldn't extend that prejudice to a six-year-old girl.
Besides, Ling Yu's nod had completely erased any doubts about the Uchiha all being bad.
"I… I'm… Uchiha Mikoto."
Mikoto was nervous, stammering slightly.
This was her first close encounter with the renowned Tsunade—and her clan was the Senju's arch-rival. Mikoto was terrified Tsunade would disapprove of her relationship with Ling Yu and drive her away.
"Mikoto, huh? From now on, I've got your back. If you face any unfair treatment in the Uchiha, come to me."
Contrary to Mikoto's fears, Tsunade patted her chest boldly.
"And if Ling Yu ever bullies you, tell me. I'll make sure to teach him a lesson."
"R-really?"
Mikoto couldn't believe it. She'd been worried Tsunade would hate her, but this was the opposite.
"Absolutely. Don't be afraid of me. I'm the Senju clan head, and we don't get along with the Uchiha, but if Ling Yu trusts you, I'll trust you too."
Tsunade knew Mikoto was concerned about her identity, so she explained patiently.
"Th-thank you… Lady Tsunade."
Mikoto sighed in relief but still spoke formally, uncomfortable with Tsunade's casual demeanor.
"No need for formalities. Call me Big Sis Tsunade from now on, like Ling Yu does. I've always wanted an adorable little sister like you."
Tsunade gently stroked Mikoto's head, growing fonder of this pretty girl by the second.

Feeling the warmth on her head, Mikoto's heart filled with joy. For the first time since her parents' death, she felt a sense of family warmth from Tsunade.
Ling Yu watched their friendly interaction from the side, thrilled inside. They were already calling each other sisters—how far could his harem be now?

Tsunade nodded, leading Mikoto toward the Senju compound.
While Ling Yu had been lost in his fantasies, she'd already invited Mikoto over. Though hesitant, Mikoto had politely agreed out of courtesy.
"Wait a second, Sis. You're just taking Mikoto in like that?"
Ling Yu quickly stepped in front of them, pointing at the Uchiha crest on Mikoto's clothes.
"What's wrong? Is that a problem? With my status as Senju clan head, no one would dare say anything."
Tsunade frowned slightly. She didn't care about such things and spoke confidently.
Her position as clan head meant even the elders couldn't control her—why would she fear gossip from other Senju?
"No, that's not what I mean. I'm worried Mikoto might feel uncomfortable."
Ling Yu took Mikoto's hand, acting considerate for her sake.
"You're right. Sorry—I didn't think it through."
Tsunade realized her oversight. She looked at Mikoto with a hint of guilt.
"It's fine. I agreed to go. Big Sis Tsunade, you don't need to blame yourself."
Mikoto smiled bitterly. She wasn't upset with Tsunade—just disappointed she couldn't visit Ling Yu's home.
