Winds rushed on the cliffs of Stormterror's Lair, taking form and forming an entity of pure Anemo energy. Unknown to anyone, a process that has only been documented once in the past five hundred years had begun.
A Dragon Sovereign has been born.
A man clothed in an elegant, yet loose, white kimono embroidered with golden clouds and rushing winds appeared after the wind coalesced. His skin was pale white; his hair followed suit, being snow white in color with tips having a tinge of blue. His frame was well filled in, and from the top of his head protruded two white antlers like horns. However, the most astonishing feature of this man was his four graceful angelic wings; their feathers looked soft and elegant, as they were whiter than the snow itself. However, unlike those of an Angel, they were more slanted, showing this man's draconic essence.
And as this man slowly woke up, he moved his hand gently to his face as a soft, yet weary, voice resounded in the empty clearing as he propped himself up with his elbow.
"Where… am I?"
Unexpectedly, a voice resounded across this supposedly empty clearing. It was cheerful and lively, but there was something about it that made this man feel wary; it felt too strong.
"Greetings, young drake. It is an honor. Currently, you are residing within the mountains of old Mondstadt."
"W-who are you?" the young Dragon Sovereign asked.
Stepping out of the shadow of a nearby tree was a man of small stature, dressed elegantly yet freely, with braids that fell on both sides of his face, framing it perfectly. Cerulean blue eyes almost glowed under the moonlight as he walked. He played a small tune on his lyre as he stepped before the young Dragon Sovereign. He responded gracefully, but with much joy, as if he was waiting for this moment.
"My name is Venti. I am but a humble bard, my young Dragon Sovereign. But between you and me, I am also Barbatos, the God of Freedom and the Archon of Mondstadt."
And for a moment, silence reigned in the clearing. Venti remained silent, giving the young Dragon Sovereign the chance to breathe and to comprehend his words. Soon, the silence became filled by the gentle music of his lyre.
However, within the young Dragon Sovereign's mind, a whole other turmoil of chaos had just been spilled.
Venti, Barbatos, Mondstadt… young Dragon Sovereign? Aren't all those things from Genshin Impact, like the game!?
From a distance, Venti could practically sense the turmoil within the young Dragon Sovereign's heart; hence, he intensified his music, doing his best to calm the poor boy down.
No wait, I remember now. I died… you're kidding. So, I died, and I just got reincarnated into a Dragon Sovereign, no less. That is absolutely insane. It's really cool, but this isn't really a good world to reincarnate into either, and depending on which point of the world you're currently at… God, there's so many things.
But to my knowledge, there's never such a kind of interaction within the story of Genshin Impact, meaning I didn't take the body of someone else. This is new, all of this.
Standing up slowly, the young Dragon Sovereign dusted himself off, getting rid of whatever dirt covered his white kimono, before asking,
"Why are you here, God of Freedom?"
Finally seeing the boy calm down, he stopped playing his instrument and focused on the conversation.
"You see, to my knowledge, you should have never been born, meaning that you are a variable in the grand scheme of 'time.' And between you and me, me and 'time' do not have the greatest of relationships, so I thought to myself I wouldn't mind fostering yet another child."
Pausing for a moment, allowing his words to settle in the now-increasing silence, before he continued, his voice warm and his presence comforting, like a father opening his arms for their child to run into.
"So, young Dragon Sovereign, I give you a proper introduction to Mondstadt, the Nation of Freedom."

Author's Notes:
I'm going to be honest and say that consistency is the bane of my existence. Out of the many stories that I have written, very few have ever been put online, and out of all of them, I have only ever finished one and that one wasn't even posted online.
So, I'll keep this short and honest. I genuinely believe that I will continue writing this story, which is why I am posting it online. However, I will say this again: consistency is the bane of my existence. Don't expect daily chapters; that just burns me out. At most, maybe a chapter every other day, or perhaps every couple of days—but bear with me.
I hope you enjoy it, and honestly, I'm excited. It's been a while since I've done something so that other people could read it. So, I hope you enjoy, good luck to me, and I hope we see each other in the next chapter, which should hopefully be posted tomorrow, since I already have about half of it finished. (I'm excited, yipeeee)
