It was a Thursday, when the voice of Mr Lugh arrived in the quiet classroom. He seemed to like he had drained of colour, the lively expressions of my classmates faded the moment they saw his face. Just as they thought they had to go through another test of the school.
The last went properly smooth for us, but I doubt we will get another easier one as that again. His seemed depressed, like someone who already knew they don't stand a chance.
Then if my assumption is right... Then our next exams must have something to do with physical abilities and a little bit of strategic thinking. As I thought in my head, the quiet voice of my class mate Dora could be heard.
"Another one of these exams."
"Man can we get a break."
"I don't wanna do this anymore."
The bickering of my classmates could be heard.
And while that happened, I laid my head on the up of my table, thinking for ways to live throughout my life in this world. Garmish, said God reincarnated me for some reason but I do not know what it is. And the history of the 8 great transcendents were done. Because they managed to defeat the devil who brought upon suffering to this very world.
Anyways I have to focus in class, even though I already knew all the materials being taught.
Lugh's perspective:
Hey is what you need to know about this exam.
"This exam has a camping element. Meaning for four days and five nights you would be staying in the forbidden forest. And, do not worry the nights had made sure to remove any dangerous monsters in the forest."
I still don't know if they are ready or not, what would Celia tell them? I asked myself for an answer.
"Oh right, before you go you will be tested through fake holograms the research facility produced not long away." Just as I said that I visibly saw some of my students tense up for a moment. Are they seriously afraid of a fake hologram that can't even hurt you." Don't be afraid I am on your side."
"Sure sir."
"We are awesome sir"
"Thank God we had a teacher like you."
They began praising me as an angel protector or something.
"Well... anyways follow me.
Rial's perspective:
We walked through the hallways where on the way, we accidentally bumped into class E. The boy named Rio gave me a doubt look before walking away, he even chuckled before leaving for their designated area.
'"So he wanted a match, huh? Well sorry but you have pick someone else I am busy at the moment," I said in my head. Maybe I'll leave this one in your hands, since after all you have quite the history.
We walked to the 6 assigned rooms, then from there we were given numbers. These numbers represent the position you are in.
1: means starter.
2: means finisher.
3: means healer.
4: means bag carrier.
5: means attacker.
6: means you are a wildcard.
In their eyes this was a drill we do before going to the forbidden forest, even though the nights have already drove out the strongest monsters. You cannot be too careful, so I had to prepare for counter measures.
Unfortunately I got the 1 which meant I would start, but I still had to wait for my team to be picked up before I entered.
The instructor's perspective:
"2 is Eigi Fososuke
3 is Max Tsukasa
4 is Kakashi
5 is Rio"
And finally number 6 is. Rial perspective: We all held our breaths for this one.
Instructor's perspective:
The sixth person is Rui.
"Please come forward, you are the first people to demonstrate your strength first hand. But note it is a hologram but it still can hurt you if you don't want to defeat it."
Rial's perspective:
{They entered the room, then immediately they were pulled to sit on a chair. The chairs had goggles and head sets on each. They all placed the instruments in the proper body parts such as their eyes and ears. As they placed it, nothing happened forwards, but as they relaxed onto the chair the feeling of sleep over took them. Then just as immediately they fall into a deep sleep. But this wasn't the end, because after what felt about 30 minutes, the sleeping sensation that took over was gone. And standing in front of them were giant monsters they all had to fight. And some weren't even monsters some were their allies.}
Part 2: Eigi vs Rio.
Eigi's perspective:
As I stood there looking at Rio's face, the pure density of our clash would be felt from a mile away. He looked at me menacingly, but I wasn't phased in the slightest.
"Wow! I never thought fighting mere children was allowed in this institution." Said he.
"Huh!"
"You are just a child with a slightly above average girlfriend." He said while trying to get me angered. He knew if I was angered from the start, he would definitely gain an advantage. Nevertheless I already had my pure activated before even walking in the room.
"Is that so. Well I had you tried to defeat Max in 3 different instances but failed each time. Then you got our class leader expelled by Rui, after that Rial totally ignored you when you tried to face him."
Just as I said that I could see his face burning up with red flames. And from where he stood, he gathered a large amount of mana in the atmosphere. He condensed the energy and formed five magic circles around him. Each magic circle had a different elemental magic inside. It was fire, water, wind, lightning, and dark energy.
He shot each simultaneously at me, every attack was directed at different angles and he also changed its diameter as it moved. No matter how fast or flexible you are you cannot destroy them unless you destroy the magic circles first. As they shot at me, I kept dodging them with minimum ease. The pure eye in my left eye made me see every direction which the attacks were coming from.
As the fighting dragged on, I became aware that trying to waste his charkra pull won't work. So I changed my tactics, I climbed on to a large tree located at the center of the illusion world. I knew trying to power here would take a long time, and so I made an ice giant for him to handle.
I closed my eyes, then released a good amount of charkra in the atmosphere, some minutes passed by, then the iris around my eyes began to change. It took some minutes but my sage mode activated. While heading back to face him, I knew the sage mode would run out if I used more mana. So as I left I created two clones at the spot and the other at a hidden location.
I jumped back down to face him but when i got down he wasn't there, instead he was near the clone I made. Then yet as immediately he turned and killed it.
"That is not fair." I said.
"Nothing is fair in this world kid."
"Hey! why do you have that still on." He said in anger.
"No reason"
"Huh, why am I feeling weaker by the second!"
"It is because the clone you just killed, wasn't an ordinary clone spell. It was an anti magic clone. And whoever kills it will have the power essence slow drained."
Just as he got distracted, I quickly condensed magic essence into my hands and formed an unwavering spear. But as I started moving I added a wind element to it, then I adjusted the movement of it. It spun like a fan, then using the pure eye I teleported to Rio back and smashed the attack there.
The attack was strong enough to knock him out for a while but was weak enough as to not kill him.
Rial vs the flying monster.
I found myself in a windy area, and on my sides laid a flying monster.
"Great on I have this to deal with."
Just as the sound of my voice was heard, the monster then spread its wings, already to attack. The monster had incredible agility and speed, with its strength on the board it becomes an almost unstopped monster.
It busted to me with its speed, but with a few foot work around my sides I successfully managed to evade it. I shifted my body using the momentum of the air, then I activated the dragon mark. After that I pulled out my sword, but I made the dragon mark invisible to the human eye.
So even if they were watching us fight they would see it. I threw an ice rod towards the flying monster who was flying right towards me. It managed to dodge the attack but that was my plan from the beginning. As the ice rod reached the side of the monster, I quickly used my eye ability 'quick teleportation'. Using that ability I teleported towards the left side of the monster, and using my blade, I slashed cleanly through the monster.
But it didn't die yet, it just regrew it lower part back.
"Hey boy, use sage mode then after use the unwavering spear to hit the heart directly."Said Garmish.
Then as quickly as I could, I formed a clone that jumped to trees, immediately using the dragon mark it managed sage mode faster. Around my pure eyes, the iris that the sage mode was displayed on appeared.
The monster came at me again, but this time I was stronger, faster, smarter, and more agile. Using my sword I managed to slash one of it four hands, and this time with sage mode it couldn't regenerate. Noticing the same thing I slashed the other one too, which like the first didn't regenerate.
After that I released a bit of charkra around my arms, then I condensed it. Quickly I managed to form an unwavering spear. Like Eigi, I also added wind art to the unwavering spear. Using my eye ability again I teleported at it back, but first I slashed it head off first then used the unwavering spear.
Kakashi and Max vs the earth monster:
Max's perspective:
Kakashi and I, now face a giant beat. Its tail was larger than the whole mountain ahead of us. Its full body was properly the size of the moon, but less gravitational. Its speed was hyper sonic plus. Its destruction level was cities level, meaning the both of us individually would take it on.
"Already." Asked Kakashi.
"Yeah." I said.
We both fist bumped each other and approached it. I quickly closed my eyes and activated my soul eyes. I felt the 360 degree of sight hit at me, with my soul eyes I would see a distance of 360 KM.
Kakashi also closed his eyes and activated his star eyes, the green colour of the eye surrounding his iris. He seemed fine so I guess there are no massive information that fills up a star user's mind when it is activated.
We rushed at the monster, we both pulled out our swords. Kakashi dumped a earth bolder on it. Which made the monster stop in its tracks, using magic I created 7 magic circles around the monster. Blue fire, water, ice, earth, wind, lightning, and dark matter.
Using dark matter I managed to blind it for a bit, then Kakashi using the lightning dragon attack. Slashed the large tail of the beast, then I used blue fire and water on the outer part of its body. Kakashi, who had enhanced his body with lightning, rushed from the far distance and slashed the outer part of its body.
Because I used fire and water on it, the surface became much more soft to slash. But the monster had more of its sleeve. It divided itself into two parts, I took the first one and Kakashi handled the second one.
I used my sword to pin the monster on the ground, then using water magic I froze the monster in place. The soul eyes showed me where its mana core was located. Then using the sword I slashed all of them. Killing the first part of the monster.
Kakashi dumped a star-like symbol, he summoned it from his eye, just then!
I felt the mana and charkra around us dissipate then it deformed entirely. Just then I found out that the monster couldn't use it magic. It would use magic but the magic it used was different from the magic it was using from before. But this one was extremely weak. Just then Kakashi breathed a sigh of relief!
"Huh! I am tired."
"Just kill it then you can go and search for the others."
Kakashi gazed at the monster then used his sword to slashed it head off.
Part 3: Rui vs the fire monster
Rui's perspective:
I saw myself looking at the fire monster, upon all the creatures I have seen this was easily the most dangerous. But unfortunately I already knew how to defeat it. The monster was born from the ages of the great war. The time of the transcendent and god's period on earth.
This monster was an S-rank monster, and exactly the warm up I needed.
"Well, it is time to go wild"
I quickly closed my eyes and activated my Luna eyes. The red colour of my iris was shown visible.
First I released the mana absorbing box on the surface of the ground. I stood on it and watched as the monster approached.
The monster drew out its long sword and waved it at me, but using gravity I shifted the weight of the sword to become 3 times its size. The weight sudden increase made the monster fill to the ground. Then I formed magic rods around it, I made each one for the hands and legs. Each was made so as to not kill it immediately but slowly drain it mana.
I then used dark matter to blind and restrain it, then I used an ice spear and killed it. I realised that I needed to find my team first.
{As they all finished with dealing with the monsters, immediately they were pulled back from the illusion world. They are came back to the real world and realised that it was all a dream.}
"So we all dreamt of beating up those monsters." Said Kakashi.
"No. It was more about going into a virtual world, which you can train with your powers and be free to do whatever you want." Rial explained.
"Then I guess our session is done." Said Max.
"Yeah we better go outside." I said.
Rial's perspective:
We got outside where we were met with faces of our homeroom teachers, they congratulated us then welcomed us back.
Rio's perspective:
"Thanks Nanase." I said.
"For what?"
"The clone, you told me about it but somehow I failed. Well because I held back so that he could impress his girlfriend!"
"Sure"
Nanase's perspective:
What a lair.
I saw you trying your very hardest to beat him but you couldn't. He had the pure eye of Rial and you had a spring eye. They are both fundamentally different, so I guess Eigi winning was the likely outcome.
