Chapter 20 - The Strange Boy

Disappearing from Garamba's presence, Gurudza materialises in a small village where people are in awe over a recent event whereby a strange boy appeared and saved a little girl from death and returning the curse of death to her parents who intended to use her as a sacrifice and asking information about the place hard with the people focused on the events.

The story tingles his ears and mind with curiosity and begins his hunt for the two. On his search he feels the presence of an ominous power concentrated on a single place and he turns to the North where is coming from.

"Are you okay, little girl?" he hears a boy's voice asking but cannot see the person speaking.

The dark power he is feeling is getting stronger as he approaches the voice of the boy.

"What do you want, demigod?" the boy asks but still he cannot see him, "The power emanating from you is that of a god and you are not a full god but a halfling so, tell me what do you want demigod?"

"I am here to stop you from causing these people misery!" Gurudza answers, "Why did you do that to that family?"

"Do what? I thought gods have cosmic awareness but I guess I was wrong!" the boy answers mocking Gurudza.

"Cosmic awareness? What the hell is that?"

The boy laughs and it echoes, "Cosmic awareness is just the ability to perceive and understand cosmic events."

"I see, and you have that ability?" he asks looking around.

The boy appears behind him holding a six-year-old girl in his arms, "Maybe, what's it to you?"

"You are the bane of this village, aren't you? What are you?" he shouts out infuriated forming a fist in his left unbroken hand.

"Me? I am but a little boy who was just passing by and I am certain I just destroyed a demon out of annoyance!" he holds the little girl tighter in his arms.

"What type of demon and how is that even possible? It is impossible to kill a demon!"

"A high ranking one if that is what you are asking!"

"Why?" Gurudza asks again another question.

"Because it was torturing her and I was not going to stand by while a demon torments an innocent child!" he shouts.

"But you are a child also, thirteen or twelve!" he estimates the boys' age.

"I am 14 actually!"

"What is your name?" Gurudza enquires.

"My name? My name is Troy Zolahan and I am the child of Melissa Zolahan!"

"Ohh, nice to meet you! Now just handover the little girl so that I can return her to her parents!"

"No!" Troy's eyes turn cold, "They are the ones who did that to her!"

"Do not let me take her from you by force young man!" he yells out his warning.

Troy scoffs, "Like you are an old man!"

"Do not test me boy or I will ....."

"You will what?" a dark dense aura starts emanating from Troy's body and his eyes also turn dark.

The dense dark aura does not feel corrupt but pure and this is similar to the first one he felt before and he steps back and raises his hand and Troy vanishes and re-appears behind him.

"Too slow, Little man!" he puts out his hand and taps him with the middle finger sending him flying.

"Let's go, Tanya, I cannot wait to introduce you to everyone, especially my twin sister, she will love you and I am sure you will love her!"

Gurudza returns quickly, "That was a lucky shot and I have had a bad day earlier today and I am not in the mood to play games!"

"That should be me saying those words to you halfling!"

"Okay, no more Mr Nice Guy!" he just forming a lightning and throws it.

Troy easily dodges, "If that is meant to kill me, then you have no chance of winning, give up and go home!"

"I do not think so, little boy, I will leave after I have taught you some manners!" Gurudza advances and stands right in front of him and looking down at Troy.

"I can make time for you and teach you a thing or two while I enjoy yourself!" Troy is ecstatic over the opportunity to fight him.

"I would rather die, than lose a fight to you!" Gurudza's eyes change and Troy's eyes start glowing with excitement.

"As you wish Mr ...…, umm, that is strange, what is your name again?"

"What is strange?" he asks confused because her does not recall telling him his name.

"Even if I haven't asked, I should know your name." he clarifies what he means by strange.

"Ohh, yes omniscience!" he laughs at Troy.

"Nigh-omniscience, my power was cut and my sister is more powerful than me at the moment but you do not hold a candle against me!" he affirms his superiority.

"We shall see," Gurudza puts his hand up and down, "Divine judgement!"

Dark grey clouds gather in the sky and Troy stands there staring in the sky observing what is about to happen. A huge lightning blast descends and Troy switches his position, reappearing behind Gurudza, puts his hand inside his trousers and grabs his underwear tightly and Gurudza screams in pain.

"Using words to activate god power? How pathetic!" he laughs, "You deserve the wedgie man!" his face turns serious, "You should listen to me and stop because you will not win this one."

"You are going to pay for this kid!" Gurudza shrieks in pain.

"I am sorry to disappoint but I have no money but here maybe I can repay you by this," he heals his hand and throws him a small distance away, "There, you are all well now! I bet you can do way better with both your hands healed and even better if you really put your back to it but even though, it will not be enough to beat me." He walks closer to Gurudza, "I admire that you are not craven but this is futile, no matter how hard you try!"

"Heyy, little kid it is time to go home, mom will kill us if she finds out that we ran away from home for a tour!" a little girl speaks from behind him.

"She will kill us anyway because I have something that I am bringing home with me!" he calls over the six-year-old little girl, "Let's go love, you have a new life ahead of you!" he looks at Gurudza, "It seems you were here for a demon; I apologise for I destroyed it saving this little girl, goodbye, I hope we will meet again!"

Troy opens a portal and the three go through returning back.

Gurudza feels his hand and it is really healed and removes the bandages, "I am thankful but that kid was a strange one!"

He stands up and leaves to continue his journey and wondering about what just occurred.
