Chapter 94 - | Let your peace rest on it

Thomas then drove to Matthew's and the three of them—Matthew, Jude and James got off. After we bid goodbye to one another, the only ones left are Yeshua, Jaime, John, Andrew, Thomas, Philip and I. "Whose house is next?" Thomas answered. "Mine, Thomas." I answered. "Alright!" Thomas replied and drove away from Matthew's.

Then suddenly, he stepped on the brake. "Hey! I thought you were careful with your van?!" Andrew asked Thomas. "I forgot that I didn't know where Maria's house was." Thomas answered Andrew. And so, he continued driving as I gave him the directions.

"Tell me again as to why Jaime and John were the ones left with us?" Thomas asked as he continued driving. "Their house is close to my flat." Andrew answered Thomas. "Oh, so that's why." Thomas replied.

And we've arrived in front of my family's house. "Take care guys! Yeshua!" I said to them, then Jaime opened the door of the van. "Thanks, Jaime." I thanked Jaime as soon as I got out of the van. "Rest well, Maria!" John said. I smiled. "You too!" I replied to John and then I closed the door of the van.

But then Thomas hadn't begun to drive, instead, Yeshua also got out of the van. "What's wrong, Yeshua?" I asked Him while looking at Him. "I have something for you." Yeshua said as He took something from His pocket. When I looked at it, I looked back at Him. "It's Mark's business card." I said while still looking at Yeshua with widened eyes now. Yeshua smiled. "I didn't have any devices to use in contacting him with these." Yeshua said with a smile.

I shook my head, "I-I can't." I replied to Yeshua then looked down at the business card. "Of course you can. He wanted you to have it." Yeshua said, making me look at Him. What do You mean?"I can hear people's thoughts." Yeshua answered as He raised both His brows. I chuckled. "Have it. He could be waiting for you." Yeshua said with a smile still. "Oh, stop teasing." I replied with a smile as well and then I looked down at the business card and took it from Yeshua.

"Thank You." I thanked Him while still smiling. "Have some rest now." Yeshua said and then He got inside the van again. "You guys have a safe journey home!" I said to the boys while waving at them. "Babye!" John said while waving at the window.

"Bye!" Jaime.

"Sleep well, Maria!" Andrew.

"I'll give you back the coat tomorrow!" Philip.

Then Thomas honked before driving away. And when I didn't see them on the road, I turned towards the house and walked. In the middle of my walk, the front door opened and… and… "Grandma?" I asked uncertainly while I kept on walking towards our porch. "Maria!" Grandma called. I quickly ran towards her and hugged her. "Oh, my little bird! Where have you been?" Grandma asked while we were still hugging. I haven't been able to answer her because I am now sobbing on her shoulders.

Thank You so much, Yeshua.
