Chapter 95 - | The way

It was a great night last night. Turns out, while I am away, Mom and Dad decided to have Grandma back since we're already financially stable. And then the whole family catches up with each other with the recent happenings in our lives. Of course I didn't tell them when I was rushed to the ER. I don't want them to worry or even know about anything that happened to me which caused it.

It is now 10AM and I need to get out of the house ASAP because if not, I'd be late in our 10:30AM class!

Uniform? Check! I.D? Check! Things in my bag? I quickly took my bag and checked the things in there. Check! What else? What else!?"Maria! Yeshua's at the door!" Mom said from downstairs. "Come in! Come in!" I heard Mom invited Him in. Phone! What percentage? 33%! I gotta get my charger! Where is it! And I ran around my room and found my charger in the bag that I used for traveling.

Alright! Now, downstairs! And I quickly ran to the stairs and carefully went down. "Hi, Yeshua!" I greeted Yeshua as soon as we looked at each other. Mom made Him sit in the living room again. "Hi, Maria." Yeshua said happily. "I already packed your lunch at the counter!" Mom said from the living room as I was on my way to the kitchen. "Saw it!" I replied then took my lunch to put it in my bag and took 2 pieces of toasted bread to eat on the way. One for me and one for Yeshua.

"Gotta go! Bye, Mom!" I said as I walked to the door and put on my black shoes. "It's so nice speaking with you again, Yeshua. Both of you take care on your way!" Mom said. You still haven't told her who You are? I asked Yeshua in my mind. "It was nice meeting you again, too." Yeshua replied to my Mom. "Bye, Mom!" I said to my Mom again after I successfully put on my black shoes. "Bye! Good luck in your studies!" Mom bid goodbye.

And Yeshua and I left the house. "Toasted bread for You!" I said as I gave Yeshua the toasted bread. "Thank you, Maria." Yeshua thanked as He received the bread. "You are always welcome, Yeshua." I said with a smile and then took a bite from my toasted bread and took my bike laying down in the driveway of our garage. "You're in a hurry." Yeshua said. "I have a 10:30AM class today and it's—I don't know, 10:10?" I replied to Yeshua as I rode my bike.

Yeshua then rode His bike as well and we began to bike away from our house. "Can I ask You something?" I asked Yeshua while we were biking. "Yes, you can." Yeshua answered. And so I took my shot. "Why were You in our house? Don't get me wrong! Not that I don't want You to be there but… I don't know… is something up?" I asked and explained. "Nothing is up, Maria. But I want to spend more time with you all in your daily lives." Yeshua replied with a smile.

"I'm sorry I asked that question, Yeshua." I apologized while we were still biking. "Asking is good, Maria. However, some questions were formed right, while other questions were formed in confusion," Yeshua replied, "I've come to teach you and to counsel you with my loving eye on you." Yeshua continued.

I stopped abruptly, and so He did. "I-I don't get it." I replied honestly while looking at Him. "I want to take care of you personally like I am your older brother or a close friend. I want to guide you towards the right path to eternal life with my love and attention focused on you. Because that's how Abba takes care of each one of His creations. And so, what the Son sees the Father doing, he also does."
