Chapter 96 - | Vine and Gardener

'What the Son sees the Father doing, He also does'… that stayed with me. All throughout our ride, I kept quiet as Yeshua did the same. I was reflecting deeply on what He said until we arrived at the university. With 5 minutes to spare. 'What the Son sees the Father doing, He also does'…

I parked my bike on the bike rack while Yeshua watched me do it. "Where will You go next?" I asked Yeshua as I looked at Him. "I'll go visit Matthew and the others." Yeshua answered while smiling and still on His bike. I smiled back at Him. "Take care." I said to Yeshua while still smiling. "I heard you kept repeating what I said to you." Yeshua said to me. Oh. Right. Then I chuckled. "I am the true vine, and the Father is the gardener. [John 15:1]" Yeshua said while still smiling. I nodded. Then He got off His bike and blessed me before He went His way.

Then I began to run as fast as I could to be able to arrive in our classroom on time. Oh, thank God I made it on time! Then I walk towards where Hazel and Elle were sitting while I try to catch my breath. "Where the hell have you been?!" Hazel asked while looking at me. "Why were you absent yesterday?" Elle asked while looking at me as well.

I didn't answer them right away, I sat first beside them before answering them. "We were in a city beyond the sea… attended a wedding." Then I tried to catch my breath again. "'We'? But we just saw your family yesterday?" Elle asked. "One of your cousins is finally married?" Hazel asked. I shook my head. "Not my cousin… Jude and James' cousin, Ruth." I answered, still trying to catch my breath.

"What!?" Hazel. "Oh! So 'we' means your group." Elle answered her question earlier. I nodded in response. "Are you serious!?" Hazel asked. "Good morning class!" Greet our professor as soon as he enters the classroom.

Minutes have already passed and our professor kept on discussing the topic. Elle was listening while Hazel already fell asleep.

'What the Son sees the Father doing, He also does'. "He is the true vine, and the Father is the gardener." Oh! Right! Now that you've recalled it… that is a great connection. The Father, as the gardener, tends to the vine—the true vine—Yeshua, His Son. And Yeshua, as the true vine, provides the necessities of the branches—that means us, His followers—growing through Him and in Him. And since the vine sees what the gardener does—which is taking care of it—the vine also does to its branches! What a realization!
