Chapter 2 - A World Where Power Means Everything

In Mira's world, magic was not just a gift.

It was life itself.

From the moment a child was born, everyone waited to see what kind of power they would awaken. Strong magic brought honor to the family. Weak magic brought shame.

The city was divided clearly.

Those with power lived confidently.

Those without it lived quietly.

At school, students were grouped according to their abilities. The powerful ones trained in the front yard, while the weak stood far behind.

Mira always stood at the back.

She watched others create flames, control water, and bend the wind. Their magic shone brightly, drawing praise and applause.

When Mira tried, nothing happened.

No light.

No sound.

No response.

People slowly stopped expecting anything from her.

Some students ignored her completely. Others mocked her softly, believing she could not hear. Mira pretended not to notice, but every word stayed in her heart.

In this world, kindness meant nothing without power.

Still, Mira never hated anyone. She only wished for one thing — to be normal.

She did not know that fate was quietly watching her.

And that the power sleeping inside her was far greater than anything this world had ever seen.
