Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Liverpool’s Warm Welcome! Preparing for the Clash of Titans!

"Hey, where's Lin? Isn't Lin the spokesperson? Why are there two women in the livestream? Bring Lin out and have these two step aside!"

"Lin, if I buy a Dark Gold Cruiser, can you ride on the back seat with me?"

"Hey, watch your face, watch your drool, watch—"

The livestream chat flew by at breakneck speed. After the two female hosts warmed up the atmosphere, Leo Lin finally made his official appearance.

"Hello everyone, I'm Leo Lin."

"I'm very happy to reach a partnership with Royal Enfield, and I'd also like to thank the handsome Mr. Pete for the invitation."

Standing behind the livestream setup, Pete immediately raised his eyebrows smugly at Barnett when he heard that.

"Did you hear that? Leo Lin just called me handsome."

Barnett shrugged. "He's just being polite. People tend to sound courteous when talking to someone they're not that familiar with. Don't read too much into it."

Pete fell silent at once, said nothing, and simply raised his middle finger at Barnett.

After a bit of casual banter, the female host began introducing the new product lineup to the audience. However, the fans were far more interested in just how cool the motorcycle actually looked, so she shifted gears and started showcasing Royal Enfield's brand-new motorcycle series.

She opened her phone, and an extremely imposing image appeared on screen.

Although it was only a concept rendering, it was more than enough to stun everyone watching.

"What you're seeing now is the all-new motorcycle series endorsed by Leo Lin, called the Dark Gold Cruiser. It's equipped with the latest engine and an entirely new chassis structure."

"In terms of design, we've drawn inspiration from the first generation of the custom cruiser line, creating an even more striking and explosive look."

"As for handling, our goal is maximum comfort. We're not chasing speed—we're chasing stability."

Leo Lin also spoke up. "That's right. When riding a motorcycle, safety comes first. Ride cool, not fast. Follow traffic rules and ride responsibly."

"Since it's still in production, we can only let everyone experience the engine sound of the standard series for now. The Dark Gold Cruiser's sound will be even better than the regular models!"

As she spoke, the host twisted the throttle a few times, and the explosive roar instantly filled the livestream.

The new Dark Gold model was already the envy of many, but when fans found out that Royal Enfield would be giving one to Leo Lin for free—without him spending a single cent—the chat quickly shifted direction from congratulations and fireworks to something else entirely.

"Who would even ride this thing? Not even a dog would!"

"Come on, rev it again. Damn, doesn't this sound like a tractor?"

"This old engine noise—take it out to the countryside and you'll scare all the pigs away!"

The female host laughed.

Seeing the chat being dragged off course by a wave of salty comments, she had a sudden idea.

"Since everyone has such strong opinions about this bike, what if I announce a random giveaway right here in the livestream?"

Snap—almost instantly!

The chat flipped direction again.

"Not even a dog would ride it? Dogs can't ride motorcycles! Give it to me!"

"Who said it sounds like a tractor? Even if it's louder than a rocket, I'd still ride it!"

"Quick, kick out everyone who said it's worse than a tractor. Don't compete with me for the giveaway!"

Leo Lin watched the comments and laughed so hard he nearly doubled over, tears welling up in his eyes. No wonder people said the internet was full of talent—now he truly understood.

The livestream was a complete success, far beyond what Royal Enfield had expected. Coinciding with Leo Lin's livestream debut, the massive viewer turnout pushed the new motorcycle series straight onto the motorcycle world's trending charts.

...

The five-day break came to an end. Liverpool wrapped up Premier League Matchday 10 with a 1–0 victory over Aston Villa, continuing their pursuit of Manchester City.

After ten rounds, Jon Champion analyzed the current Premier League situation for the fans. A special guest also appeared in the studio: Manchester City legend Yaya Touré.

"After ten rounds, Manchester City sit top of the table, with Liverpool in second, two points behind."

"Tottenham have eight wins, one draw, and one loss, placing them third."

"Arsenal also have eight wins, one draw, and one loss, but sit fourth due to an inferior goal difference."

"Chelsea are fifth with eight wins and two losses."

"Aston Villa are sixth with eight wins and two losses."

"And the biggest surprise has to be Manchester United. After ten matches, they have six wins, three losses, and one draw, sitting eighth in the league."

"Since Sir Alex Ferguson left, United's rebuilding process has been long and difficult."

Yaya Touré chuckled as he spoke. "This Manchester United—how many managers have they gone through now?"

"Has anything changed?"

"Same soup, different bowl!"

"First they lose to Liverpool, then to Aston Villa, then they draw with Watford!"

"If they keep playing like this, there won't be anyone left for them to lose to!"

"No shame at all!"

After venting, Yaya Touré brought up the fixtures for Premier League Matchday 11, with the most eye-catching clash being the summit showdown.

"In Matchday 11, Lin will be returning to the squad as Liverpool face Manchester City."

"For both sides, this is a match they absolutely cannot afford to lose."

"If Liverpool lose, the gap at the top will stretch to five points."

"If you let City build up that kind of advantage early on, trying to catch them later is basically impossible."

Yaya Touré spoke with a distinctly sharp, old-school edge.

"If City lose, they'll hand over first place, so both teams will go all out."

"With Lin back, Liverpool's squad is close to full strength. Meanwhile, under Guardiola's guidance, Manchester City's lineup is even more formidable."

"In a clash like this between two giants, it's really impossible to predict who will win."

Fans everywhere were fixated on this blockbuster showdown. On October 30, the clash of titans would finally kick off.

...

On October 26, just as Leo Lin stepped into the club, all the players were already waiting inside.

From the mysterious way Krawietz greeted him, Leo Lin had already guessed that something was going on.

Liverpool had prepared a grand welcome ceremony for him.

Firmino and the others held party poppers, setting them off as all the staff shouted Leo Lin's name at the top of their lungs. A massive six-tier cake stood before him, fireworks spraying from the top, where chocolate letters read:

"Welcome Home, U17 World Champion!"

In that instant, Leo Lin felt slightly dazed.

A powerful surge of emotion welled up from deep within his heart. He had never imagined that Liverpool would welcome him in such a grand way.

His teammates rushed forward to hug him. Everyone jumped together in celebration. Leo Lin threw his head back and laughed, truly feeling the warmth and beauty of a family-like atmosphere.

Klopp looked at the jubilant crowd before him and smiled with satisfaction.

Heading into such a crucial showdown with a team this united, Klopp felt more confident than ever about securing those vital three points.
