PETE'S POV
"It's a misunderstanding, right??" I thought to myself.
Suddenly, a notification appeared on my phone. Arm sent me the location of Vegas. I checked the location; it wasn't Vegas's office, it was a bar. It was almost out of the city. I tightened my grip on the phone, feeling a sense of dread.
"Vegas... You... what are you doing there..." I muttered. "Let's see..."
After almost an hour, I reached the location. I went inside and checked the surroundings, looking for Vegas. After looking around, I realized that it wasn't a normal bar... it was a gay bar. I felt a mix of anger and heartbreak. I didn't find Vegas there.
"He is nowhere to be seen... Has he left already?? I should just leave..." I said to myself, turning to leave.
But suddenly, my mind went back to the guy's voice I heard on the phone.
"What if... he... Let me check again and then I'll leave...".
I checked around again, but this time not just the surroundings but the black spots, washroom, and rooms in there...
Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice from the dark corner... I froze. I didn't dare to go there. I didn't want to see something that would break me... But after a few minutes, I gathered my courage and went to that dark side. I saw two guys talking in front of the room, but their faces weren't clear... Their voices were familiar... one was the seductive tone I heard from the call, and the other was Vegas.
Guy: Khun Vegas, What do u think of me? (Seductive tone)
Vegas: U looks like a sweet little cake...
Guy: Khun Vegas, Do u like cakes?
Vegas: Not really, but if it's this cake then I may....
Guy: Then do u wanna taste it???
U son of a bitch..... I thought to myself.
Vegas: Sure.. Would u like to be tasted??
Guy: I would love to...
That guy suddenly pecked at Vegas's lips.. Then they both kissed each other... Then that guy opened the door to the room and light fell on their faces. My body got cold.. Till this very moment I hoped that, I wouldn't see something like this. But this second I realised that everything was a lie... I took my phone out and took a photo of them together.. My hands were shaking. They both got inside the room. After 10-20 minutes later I got close to the room and tried to hear them and their voices confirmed my suspicion..... I got out of the bar and went back to my house on my way back and I called Vegas...
Vegas picked up the call in a tired voice:
"Hey.. r u done with your work?" I asked.
"Not yet.. I will be late.." he replied.
(Suddenly that guy calls Vegas.. I heard the voice and recognised it..)
"Is there some with u??" I asked.
Vegas said, "I'm in a meeting... I'm busy... I'll see you at home..."
I replied, "Vegas... Just a second..."
He asked, "What is it??"
I felt a wave of loneliness and said, "I... I miss you... Okay then, see you at home...."
He sounded concerned, asking, "Is everything okay? What happened??"
"Nothing, I just feel a little lonely without anyone by my side... You should continue your meeting, don't make the client wait... Bye..." I managed to say.
I hung up the call. Tears were dropping from my eyes. I didn't know what to do; the only thing I knew was that I felt terrible. The person I trusted the most had betrayed me.
Later, at home, I was drinking in the dining room when Macao woke up and came into the kitchen. He noticed my swollen eyes and realized I wasn't in a good mood. He saw me and I asked him:
"Did I wake you?"
Macao replied, "No... I came to get some water... Is everything okay?? You don't look good..."
He noticed my reddened eyes and asked..
"Phi were you crying?"
I shouldn't make Macao worried, so I just told him, "I'm okay.. I just thought about my grandma.. She is not here with me anymore... I miss her..."
Macao hugged me, and I hugged him back. The warmth I was getting from him made my eyes teary. He told me not to worry because he and his brother would always be there for me. "We are a family P'..", he said.
"If you don't mind.. Can I sleep with you tonight....??", I asked him. He sounded happy and said, "Sure.... Let's go to sleep..."
We went to sleep together. He hugged me and slept on my chest. I patted his back gently and caressed his hair. I wondered inwardly: Do you really love me Macao? Will you hate me if I leave you? You said we are a family but I don't think I've a place in this family anymore. I then hugged Macao tightly and fell asleep.
(During midnight Vegas gets back home... He is worried about Pete because he sounded sad when he called earlier....Vegas goes to their room and didn't find him there... He gets scared and he goes to Macao's room and sees them both sleeping together... A small smile forms on Vegas's face he goes and kisses both of their foreheads....)
I was fast asleep.
The next morning, I woke up and realized that Macao wasn't with me. I then went to the kitchen to look for Macao and I found Vegas cooking and Macao having his breakfast..
Macao asked me, "P' U r awake? R u feeling okay now? "
I nodded in response.
Vegas came close to me and grabbed my cheek with both of his hands
He asked, "R u okay baby?? Macao told me about Last night... R u okay now? I'm sorry I couldn't be with u last night...."
