AUTHOR'S POV
Porsche is surprised, asking, "Boyfriend?".
Alex confirms, "yes.. it's nice to meet you guys....", to which Kinn replies, "nice to meet you too..". Pete then introduces the group: "This is khun Kinn, this is Khun Tankun, this is Khun Vegas, this is Macao, this is Porsche, Arm, Pol and this is Chay....".
Alex reintroduces himself formally: "I'm Alex Pete's boyfriend..."
As Alex says the word "BOYFRIEND," he looks at Vegas and grins, sensing that Vegas is burning with anger. Alex internally finds this pretty fun.
Kinn suggests they all have a seat and talk, and Alex agrees, saying, "sure...". Alex holds Pete's hand, and Pete leads him. Alex again looks at Vegas, who appears to be on the verge of killing him, and smiles .
They all sit in the living room. Tankun drags Pete and makes him sit with him. Alex sits next to Chay, facing Pete, with Vegas and Macao to his right, and Kinn and Porsche to his left ..
Tankun asks Pete if he still loves him, feeling abandoned: "Pete don't you love me anymore? U left me just like that... U don't care about me.... Do u how much I missed you....". Pete apologizes and explains that even when he was away, he kept an eye on their whereabouts.
Porsche expresses confusion, questioning how they could do that when they couldn't be found.
Alex reveals that he was the one who helped: "Because of me...". He explains Pete was very sad and worried about the others. Seeing Pete's distress, Alex started gathering information about their locations and informing Pete, which relieved him to know they were okay.
Everyone starts to get suspicious about Alex, realizing not just anyone can obtain information about a powerful family's whereabouts. Alex's capabilities suggest he isn't a simple person. They look at each other, and Alex notices and grins....
Kinn changes the subject, asking how Pete and Alex met.
Everyone gets interested in this topic and looks at Pete and Alex. Pete explains, "We met at a bar," which prompts Macao to ask, "Bar?".
FLASHBACK
At a bar by the beach. Inside the bar, Pete demands more drink. The staff tells him, "Sir I think you are drunk... U should stop drinking...". Pete insists he is not drunk and asks for another glass. The staff obliges, saying, "okay".
Some guys notice Pete and look at him like hungry wolves. They approach him and ask if he needs any help. Pete declines their offer. They persist, noting he seems alone and offering to accompany him. Pete firmly tells them he does not need their company and to leave him alone. The men mock him, asking if he is playing hard to get, and invite him to have some fun.
The men drag Pete away. Pete is not in a condition to retaliate because he is really drunk. Suddenly, a guy arrives and asks, "Didn't he say he is not interested?".
The men look as if they have seen a ghost, their faces turning pale. They quickly say, "Yeah...then we will take our leave bye....", and run away.
The guy looks at the drunk Pete and asks, "R u okay?". Pete mutters, "Mm...". He tells him, "come here... I'll get you some medicine... Hey get me some water...". Pete thanks him... He stays with Pete untill Pete gets sobar.... When Pete gets sobar he asks him " Thanks for helping me... Your name?"
He replied " Alex... It's nice meeting you"...
IN THE PRESENT
Pete is concluding his story, stating, "That's how we first met... It was his Bar... After that we kept meeting there once in a while and in the end we ended up together".
Just then Alex gets a call and says, "Yeah I'll be there...". He apologizes for needing to leave: "Sorry but I've some things to deal with.. I'll have to leave now... Sorry Pete I have to go...".
Pete responds, "It's okay go ahead....". Alex offers to pick him up after work, Pete agrees with an "okay...".
Tankun interjects, "No.... You are not leaving you are staying here....". Pete tries to protest "But.." but Tankun cuts him off: "No but.... I want to spend time with you... I missed you so much all these years....".
Pete looks at Alex. Alex gets close to Pete and caresses his hair..
Alex reluctantly looks at Pete and says
" Okay... You should stay... You have been away from them for so long".
Pete then asks about Alex's plans: "Then what about you?". Alex replies, "I'll go home after work...". Pete asks: "But will you be okay staying alone?".
Alex says,"I guess so.... I will miss you..".
Everyone can see how much Alex wants Pete to be with him so does Pete....
Vegas gets annoyed seeing them being so affectionate towards eachother...
