Chapter 10 - Chapter 10- Cage

Lloyd's gaze was fierce and ruthless. The nobles had stood there not knowing what to do.

Lloyd's hand was ready to flail back down but Imaez had dashed and canceled his attack.

"Listen… we're in a situation where we have to stick together. Calm yourself down and prepare. Nobles usually have a high output, judging by these guys their stamina is probably low." Imaez had tapped Lloyd on the cheek.

Marie began facing her hands to the nobles—

"Blow… silently, gracefully, beautifully."

A wall of wind had been put into place in front of the nobles.

"Hhrrah!" A noble had began shooting fire palms through his palms.

"Shit! It's not budging. It's like the wind is just absorbing… no… it's dissolving my fire?"

Marie smirked. And Imaez looked at her little contraption she made.

*Marie's wind… it's more than just air. The wind is like a vortex. It pulls at it, rips it apart, atom by atom. The flames don't just stop, they cease to exist. She's not blocking attacks. She's erasing them.* Imaez had put his finger of his chin.

A shift of the atmosphere changed. Everybody looked at the source of this shift.

All of a sudden—

BWWWWSH! A crash!

Imaez felt a strong presence, this new individual that had appeared. They were of great talent.

Steps were heard…

dudunk… dudunk… dudunk.. The sound of footsteps inside of the main enterance.

A trenchcoat. Combover hair. Glasses perfect fit on the man's face. He was a noble, for sure.

"Guri Janaden the IV." He turned his gaze towards the false Janadens.

"You… blonde hair, green eyes. You're the Reaper."

Gasps filled the room.

"The Reaper?"

"Oh my god!!! Are we going to die here?!"

Voices of panic and fright filled the floor.

"SILEEEENCE!" Guri screamed.

"I will not let these people touch you." He faced them and touched the ground with his finger.

The floor began cracking.. grrrkk… Walls were emerging from the floor. The nobles had been separated from the face off occurring.

"Alright.. let's begin." Guri whispered. He formed an iron sword, coating it in some type of energy.

Imaez unsheathed his long sword, quickly dashing at Guri and the two began their clashes.

Metal scrapped off their blades as sparks flew around. Imaez quickly propelled himself off the ground. Twirling in the air to gain momentum and sending a slash down at Guri.

Guri quickly used his blade to parry and he dashed back.

Imaez quickly got into a readied position—

*Alright, he's using his Soul Pact pressure to amplify his sword's strength and endurance. No wonder his sword didn't break when mine is clearly the superior one.* Imaez thought while running.

Lloyd was in awe at what he was seeing. Guri was not at his best, he was handling the Special Threat with equivalent force and skill.

"I can't sit around… I need to distract Guri."

Lloyd had shot a lightning bolt at the wall separating the nobles. The wall had crumbled and Lloyd had an idea.

He put his hands on the floor. Concentrated his energy. And began transmitting lightning.

kssskk! ksssk!

Lightning formed around the Castle. It covered the perimeter.

"Divine Cage of Thunder!" Lloyd screamed.

The cage was finalized. Nobles were not to escape.

Imaez and Guri had stopped their clashes and pressed their swords onto one another.

"TELL ME REAPER! WHY DO YOU TAKE MY FAMILY'S NAME?! WHERE'S MY BROTHER??!" Guri screamed at him

Imaez replied — "I don't know and I don't care. It's best for you if you be quiet during this fight."

Guri smirked and dashed backwards.

"Alright then, let me get serious."

"Art of the Sword Emperor."

A great sword had emerged from Guri's long sword. Hilt covered in marvelous gems and priceless jewels.

Imaez looked and covered his blade in Void energy.

"Alright, come at me."
