The anticipation in the Black Box was at an all-time high. It was the sixth month, and the "Twin Secret" had finally reached its peak. Keifer had insisted on a reveal that lived up to the Watson name, but I made him promise one thing: no gold-plated helicopters.
Section E had taken over the mansion's massive lakeside garden. Kit and Moya were running around like frantic event planners, while Calix and Mica (now proudly showing her own bump) acted as the "gatekeepers" of the secret envelopes
The garden was split into two themes: a "Green Forest" side and a "Starlight" side. There were two massive, opaque black balloons floating in the center of the gazebo, each tied with a heavy silk ribbon.
"I can't take the suspense anymore!" Keigan shouted, pacing back and forth. "Is it two more brothers? Or am I finally getting a sister to protect?"
"If it's two girls, Kuya is going to have to hire an entire army for security," Keiran laughed, nudging Keifer.
Keifer stood beside me, looking incredibly sharp in a white linen shirt, his hand never leaving the small of my back. He looked nervous—a rare sight for the man who ran the country's biggest conglomerate.
"You ready, weify?" he whispered, his eyes searching mine.
"Ready, hubby," I smiled, clutching the silver pin Kit had handed me.
The First Pop
The crowd went silent. Even baby Grazel and the twins of Angelo and Ion seemed to stop fussing.
"We'll open the left one first," I announced.
Keifer and I gripped the pin together. With a deep breath, we poked the first black balloon.
BOOM!
A cloud of vibrant blue confetti and tiny blue rose petals exploded into the air, raining down on our heads.
"A BOY!" Keigan and Keiran roared, tackling each other in a celebratory wrestle. "A little Watson prince!"
Keifer grinned, his eyes lighting up. "One more brother for the team," he murmured, kissing my cheek.
The Second Pop
But the air was still thick with tension. There was one balloon left. Everyone crowded closer. Mica was holding her breath, and even the stoic Erdix had his camera ready.
"If this is another boy, I'm officially outnumbered in this house," I joked, looking at the four Watson men currently surrounding me.
"Let's find out," Keifer said, his voice dropping to a reverent whisper.
We turned to the second balloon. This time, Keifer let me hold the pin alone. I felt the weight of the moment—the future of our family hanging in the balance. I pressed the pin into the dark latex.
POP!
The air was suddenly filled with a soft, shimmering blush pink. Thousands of silk cherry blossom petals and rose-gold glitter swirled around us, caught in the Tagaytay breeze.
The Total Meltdown
The silence lasted for exactly one heartbeat before the garden erupted.
"A GIRL!" Grace screamed, hugging Denzel. "Jay! You got a girl!"
Keifer froze. He looked at the pink petals on the grass, then back at me. The "Monster" CEO, the man who feared nothing, looked completely defeated by the idea of a daughter. A soft, vulnerable look crossed his face as he realized he was about to be wrapped around a little girl's finger for the rest of his life.
A daughter..." he rasped, his voice cracking. He pulled me into his arms, burying his face in my hair as the pink and blue confetti swirled around us. "A little princess who looks just like you."
"And a little boy who's going to be just as stubborn as you," I laughed through my tears.
The Celebration
The party turned into a beautiful chaos. Kit was already on his phone ordering "mini-couture" dresses, while Moya was looking for the smallest pair of basketball shoes ever made.
Keigan and Keiran were already arguing over the rules. "I'm teaching the boy how to play ball," Keigan said. "And I'm the one who vets the boyfriends for the girl," Keiran added, his face turning serious. "No one gets past me."
Keifer looked at his brothers and smirked. "Good luck with that. Between the three of us and Section E, that girl won't have a date until she's thirty."
The Names
Later that night, as the guests cleared out and the mansion returned to its peaceful state, we sat by the fireplace.
"A boy and a girl," Keifer mused, rubbing my stomach where the two were currently having a "kick-boxing" match. "The perfect balance."
We need names, babe," I said.
Keifer looked at me, his eyes full of the peace we had fought so hard to find. "For the boy... something strong. Something that carries our history. And for the girl... something that means 'Light.' Because she's going to be the starlight of this home, just like her mother."
"Alexander and Aurora?" I suggested softly.
Keifer nodded, pulling me into a deep, lingering kiss. "Alexander and Aurora Watson. Welcome to the family
