Synopsis
Raised as a child soldier thanks to two broke college students who made one bad decision too many, Keifun Amijiki never really got a fair start. Things only get worse when he’s forcibly upgraded into a living supercomputer, because apparently destiny wasn’t done messing with him yet. Equipped with an intelligence rivaling Nezu himself, a deeply cynical worldview, and absolutely no patience for the system that ruined his life before it even began, Keifun stumbles through a slightly dark, mostly ludicrous journey to claim a piece of a world that’s already taken everything else from him.

Chapter 1 - Two Old Bald Dudes Want My Body

When Dr. Garaki was first told about the young couple in room 127 at Jaku General Hospital and their particular circumstances, he immediately told his master the good news: that the creation of high-end nomu would likely happen much sooner than expected.

"Have you made a breakthrough in your research, Doctor?" All for One asked with piqued interest. The Nomu project was one he invested much time and resources in; a breakthrough in the creation of the most advanced version to date was quite good news indeed to Symbol of Evil.

Dr. Kyudai Garaki quickly elaborates to his master, "No, my lord, not yet, but I have come across a child that may be the key to quickening the high-end's formation." The Doctor gives a smile that would unsettle the hearts of anyone who had seen such an expression, but of course, no one did. Garaki continues, "there was a child born recently with a quirk like nothing I have come across yet, while it is a mutation, which is unfortunate due to its uniqueness, there is still potential in cultivating his body into something that could quite easily handle not just one or two extra quirks, but by my calculations, at least 15-23 extra quirks not counting his innate quirk!" The doctor finishes his rant enthusiastically and a little out of breath.

All for One leans in slightly in the dark room he sat in, his curiosity more than piqued. "What kind of quirk could a child possess to be able to handle such a vast number of additional quirks without his body deteriorating like so many of the past attempts?"

The doctor's goggles flash for a brief second. "His quirk is called chimera, it seems, and it allows him to implement new organic and inorganic matter directly into his body. Though there must be some sort of limitation placed on the quirk since the concept seems too broad in my professional opinion."

A pleased "hmmmm" sounded from the screen as the demon lord thought of the potential gains the child could provide, many advancements to the nomu project. "Now, how will you handle the acquisition of this wonderful asset?" AFO questions.

"That's actually the easiest part, the parents are putting the baby up for adoption since they appear to not have been expecting the kid in the first place." The Doctor continues, "It will be child's play to say the child died soon after being put for adoption, and the after… I can truly test the limits of such a wonderful quirk."

The Symbol of Evil nods his head, " Good work, doctor, I am looking forward to the results you will make from such a unique quirk…." he says before the screen goes black.

Garaki slowly gets up from kneeling on the floor and starts to head absentmindedly toward room 127, thinking about the future possibilities and experiments he will uncover and conduct. He is about to have all of his plans ruined when he finds that the child is not present in the room when he gets there. All he sees is the couple talking to each other in slightly thankful, hushed tones, but the words never reached his ears. Dr. Garaki approached them with the most amicable smile he could think of, "I hope I'm not interrupting, but why isn't the child with the mother?" All the while, his mind is calculating all the scenarios that would have led to the hospital's policies not being met unless there was an emergency, but with the parents looking for anything relieved, he already knew that was not likely what had happened.

The father, a Suigin Amajiki from what the doctor remembered, turned around leisurely and began to quite casually say, "Oh, well, one of the nurses took him away to put him with the other children that will be posted for adoption soon."

Which made the doctor internally start to pull out his nonresistant hair. He replied quietly, " Ah, I see, I hope you both have a splendid day then…" and proceeded to hurry out of the room and immediately grabbed the nurse who was about to walk in and pulled her to the side. He asked in a manner that bordered more on desperation than anger, "Where is Keifun Amajiki?!"

More than 5 miles away in a slick, nondescript SUV straight out of a movie, the HPSC special ops agent was confirming with the HPSC chairman that the asset was acquired with little to no difficulty at all. The agent then promptly ended the call after receiving a job well done from the chairman. "Soo…." She drawled in a slightly depressed and lazy manner, "You're gonna be my replacement, huh?" Lady Nagant gives a wry smile as she looks at the recently born child. She had to admit that the child was indeed abnormal looking, with tufts of soft hair like the night sky, pupils that were an unnatural, almost liquid silver, the irises shaped like multiplication signs, and horns that looked like small crescent moons colored in some uncanny silver.

"I wonder why the association thought you were so important that it was better to abduct you than to let you be adopted?" She stared at the eyes that had been staring at her for the whole 15-minute car ride, still not blinking once. " Well, I guess I don't need to know, I'm just glad I didn't have to make someone disappear again," she said, and they drove off towards the discreet HPSC Special Ops headquarters located about 20 stories beneath Sekoto Peak in the Gunga mountains.
