"What?!"
Leon Sullivan stared in disbelief, his eyes wide. Mrs. Sawyer stood by his side, afraid he would get too worked up and faint again.
"I didn't dare tell you this. Things at home were too chaotic and complicated back then, and you were grieving. After this woman disappeared, she tried to flee the country. I had to hire people to track her down and bring her back. I didn't believe it at first either, but I found a video on her computer of her successfully moving Mom's body. The woman is incredibly arrogant; she really thought she could fool everyone."
"How... how much could she have possibly hated your mother?"
Leon Sullivan's lips trembled, his eyes welling up with tears.
"She wouldn't even let her rest in peace!"
Jane Sterling was silent for a long moment.
"So, where is this person now?"
Zachary Sullivan rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on.
