Season Two
Part Two
In the middle of a gigantic battlefield, where the armies seemed endless,
three people now stood upon its surface.
Until the silence was finally broken...
Erlick: "So, what are you going to do now, Reinhardt, now that this brat has returned to the battlefield?"
Reinhardt looked toward the barrier he had created,
only to see Kaith beginning to awaken.
He then turned toward Erlick, visibly tense.
Reinhardt: "What are you planning to do?"
Erlick: "What I'm going to do? I'd be a fool if I didn't eliminate him right now."
Reinhardt: "If you're capable of getting past my corpse, then do it."
Erlick: "Then let's see just how thick this corpse really is."
Erlick unleashed an attack made of Void Magic, while Reinhardt countered it using Star Magic.
Reinhardt then thought to himself:
Reinhardt (in his thoughts): "There's no way I can continue this battle like this. Victory is undoubtedly on his side."
Erlick: "You know that the Void is stronger than your mortal stars, Reinhardt."
Reinhardt: "But these stars will cut your head off, Erlick."
Reinhardt formed a sword out of Star Magic
and launched himself toward Erlick.
He unleashed an attack toward Erlick's head, but...
Erlick: "I've played with you long enough, Reinhardt. But perhaps it's time to end the game."
Erlick used the Void and erased Reinhardt's attack and the sword, as though they had never existed in the first place.
Erlick: "You should have simply watched while I destroyed this world of yours using the Void."
Silence filled the battlefield.
Until the atmosphere suddenly changed, and the sky began to glow with a strange light.
The sound of thunder grew louder,
and the Gates of Hell opened.
From within them emerged a skeleton wearing a cloak,
and beside him stood a demon with blue hair
and an appearance that sent chills through the body.
They announced themselves as the Fourth and Fifth Shards.
Erlick: "Is this some kind of performance?"
Reinhardt: "Who knows? Perhaps."
Silence fell once again.
Then...
They both charged toward Erlick, intending to eliminate him.
But...
Erlick used Void Magic.
Erlick: "Return to Hell."
He unleashed his magic upon them,
and both of them vanished...
Erlick: "What?!"
Erlick: "Weren't they supposed to be stronger than this? Or is that External Ruler just a complete idiot? I expected the two of them to possess enough power to rival the two of us together."
Reinhardt: "My shock is no less than yours by even a hair."
And without warning...
A demonic hand emerged, piercing through existence itself and through his barrier, cutting off...
Reinhardt:
Reinhardt: "Are you kidding me right now?"
Reinhardt looked at Erlick's head as it rolled across the ground.
The perpetrator revealed himself.
Black hair.
Four black horns.
Two violet eyes dominated by arrogance.
And pale, lifeless skin.
He introduced himself, openly acknowledging that he was the External Ruler, Arliox.
Reinhardt: "Now I understand who taught those fools all that unnecessary theatrics."
Silence fell.
Until...
Arliox: "Your magic won't save you today, Reinhardt."
Arliox: "I discovered your identity and your position."
Arliox: "Kaith Azthiron... I never expected you to return to the past. I don't know how you came back, but what I do know is that your Void will erase you this time."
Reinhardt: "Then let's see who gets erased...
Me, or you."
