Alpha Kade's POV
"That damned bitch!!!" I cursed as I hurdled a table across the room in my study.
The sound of it shattering against one of the walls didn't seem to make me feel any better.
Clearing out the table with my hands and scattering everything on the floor in a fit of rage didn't seem to make me feel better as well.
I was halfway through ripping the curtains that dangled from high above when I heard a creak.
My ears perked up and I froze, for a split second trying to figure out who was in the room with me.
Turning around, I couldn't see anyone at first. But when I focused, I realized that the door to the room was slightly cracked open.
"Who's there?" I demanded, not in a mood to entertain any kind of stupidity around me.
When there was no answer, I felt my blood boil even hotter as Thalia's words kept haunting me even more.
I focused, and held my breath.
