In an instant, three consecutive world announcements flooded the global channel, turning what had been a quiet world chat into a roaring frenzy.

"So it's finally here—the first large-scale dungeon!"

"This is awesome! The dungeon is actually in Konoha! As Mist Village players, we finally get to show what we can do!"

"Mist Ninja Alliance recruiting! All Mist Village players are welcome—join us and get Water Release jutsu from time to time!"

"Hah, Mist Ninja Alliance? Please. Our Stone Ninja Alliance is the real deal. Join us and the guild leader personally hands out Earth Release scrolls!"

Countless players erupted into heated discussion. Many players from other villages immediately activated teleportation stones, rushing toward Konoha Village.

Standing atop a rooftop, Ning Feng stared at the world announcements. He froze for a moment—then a deep smile spread across his face.

Honestly, if not for these sudden system announcements, he might've truly believed he was in the real Naruto world—a transmigrator rather than a player.

But compared to transmigrators, players had far more growth channels.

Anyone who had ever played an online game knew this well: whenever a large-scale dungeon or special event appeared, the rewards were always insanely generous.

Not to mention—he was already far ahead of most players.

This was the perfect chance to snowball even faster and dominate the entire ninja world.

Just as Ning Feng was thinking, Uchiha Itachi spoke urgently beside him:

"Peak, Shisui and I are heading to the east and west of Konoha right now to intercept the Mist ninjas."

"You go straight to Sister Kushina and protect her—understand?"

"At this moment, Kushina should still be with our mother and the Third Hokage's wife!"

After saying that, Itachi put on his ANBU mask. Beside him, Uchiha Shisui also pulled on a face covering, and the two vanished without a trace.

Ning Feng nodded slightly.

Even if Itachi hadn't said anything, he would've protected them anyway—this was the perfect opportunity to farm favorability.

It was worth noting that in the original story, Uchiha Mikoto and Kushina Uzumaki often spent time together and were extremely close.

Only now did Ning Feng fully realize something—

The activation of large-scale dungeon quests was something only players could perceive. NPCs like Itachi and Shisui likely had no idea about dungeon mechanics at all.

The game system existed independently of the Naruto world.

To the native NPCs, players weren't "players"—they were simply people, friends, family.

Whoosh!

Ning Feng shot forward, his speed blazing as he rushed toward the coordinates announced by the system.

If any players were watching right now, they'd be stunned to discover that Ning Feng's running speed was two to three times faster than ordinary players—fast enough to be downright shocking.

Of course, without Shisui's guidance earlier that night, Ning Feng wouldn't have been able to move like this.

Suddenly, in the darkness, Ning Feng's scarlet Sharingan caught movement.

At one corner of Konoha Village, a large number of Mist chunin and jōnin were already sneaking in under cover of night.

Many Konoha chunin and jōnin had engaged them in battle, the clash of weapons ringing through the air.

Although Ning Feng didn't know how Konoha's barrier had failed, this was no time to dwell on it. He pushed his speed even further.

"Quick! Protect Kushina Uzumaki!"

At the other end of the village, several decently geared players led a massive wave of Konoha-aligned players charging toward the coordinates—clearly aiming to rack up dungeon points.

Ning Feng noticed that the leaders were Hyuga Clan players.

One of them, named [Hyuga Qintian], had already awakened the Byakugan and reached Level 9.

"So there really are some talented players out there," Ning Feng grinned.

This was the first time he'd seen a player who had awakened the Byakugan.

At the same time Ning Feng was observing Hyuga Qintian, Qintian's Byakugan also locked onto Ning Feng.

Compared to Ning Feng's mild surprise, Hyuga Qintian was utterly shaken.

Through the Byakugan, he could clearly sense that Ning Feng's chakra was terrifying—far beyond ordinary Genin levels!

While the players sized each other up in silence, a shrill whistling sound suddenly tore through the air.

Several well-equipped Mist players, freshly teleported in, charged forward at incredible speed.

"Water Release: Water Dragon Vortex Jutsu!"

One Mist player formed seals at lightning speed and—despite the lack of water—summoned a massive torrent out of thin air, crashing straight toward more than a hundred players ahead.

Clearly, this Mist player was extremely confident in his strength to dare fight one versus a hundred.

"Holy crap—that's strong!"

"What the hell!? Summoning that much water on flat ground!?"

Before many Konoha players could even react, they were swept away, sent straight back to the respawn point in flashes of white light.

With that Mist player taking the lead, the morale of the Mist side skyrocketed. One after another, they began forming seals, unleashing Water Release techniques.

But just as dozens of Mist players began casting—

A cold wind suddenly swept through the battlefield.

In the horrified gazes of the Mist players, a figure leapt into the air from the darkness, hand seals forming so fast they blurred together.

That player was Ning Feng.

Even more shocking—

While everyone else was fighting in formation head-on, Ning Feng charged straight into the heart of the Mist ranks, descending like a god from the sky!

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

As his seals completed, a blazing torrent of flames erupted from his mouth.

At first, the fireball was only fist-sized—but in an instant, it expanded to the size of a house, swallowing dozens of Mist players in one overwhelming inferno!
