Chapter 6 - Chapter 005: The Sharingan's Illusion

"Hmm?" Hearing Orion's voice, the Sludge Villain finally realized there was someone else there. He turned his head and looked straight into Orion's eyes, feeling somewhat curious.

"Your Quirk?" The Sludge Villain smiled disdainfully, not taking Orion seriously at all. "Pink eye?"

Seeing this, the corners of Orion's mouth curled into a secretive arc. To dare look directly into the Sharingan... probably only an idiot who knew nothing would do such a thing.

"Kid, just you wait. Let me see what you're capable of." The disdain in the Sludge Villain's eyes didn't diminish in the slightest; instead, it grew even more intense.

"What are you standing there for? Why don't you hide?" Seeing the opponent ignoring his words, Bakugō Katsuki, whose temper was already short, felt as if a fire was burning in his heart.

Orion paid no attention to Bakugō Katsuki and stared straight at the Sludge Villain. "You want to see my capability? As you wish."

"Swoosh..."

In the next second, the world before the Sludge Villain's eyes shattered with a bang. The original flames were all extinguished, and only a silence remained around him. It was an empty, uninhabited street.

"Where are the people?" Now, the Sludge Villain felt a little panicked in his heart, but he didn't show it. He looked around, seeming to want to find a living figure.

"I heard that someone conducted an experiment in a foreign country." Orion's voice sounded like a ghost, ringing out from all directions.

"Stop playing tricks! Kid, get out here!" The Sludge Villain twisted his body constantly, pacing back and forth, but there was no one around.

"They say, if a person is locked in a dark, soundless place, how long can they last?" Orion's voice entered the Sludge Villain's mind, but Orion's figure was still nowhere to be seen.

Hearing Orion's words, the Sludge Villain began to panic, and at the same time, a trace of regret appeared in his heart.

He shouldn't have been so rash just now. He should have at least figured out the opponent's Quirk; it wouldn't have been too late to provoke him then.

"Hmph, I don't believe you can hide everyone here completely." The Sludge Villain kept comforting himself in his heart, hinting to himself over and over that Orion had just temporarily hidden the surrounding people and things, and that it wouldn't take long for this place to return to normal.

"To be honest, I'm quite curious. I might as well test it on you." In the darkness, the three tomoe in Orion's eyes spun violently. In just the blink of an eye, the surroundings plunged completely into darkness and deathly silence, without any breath of life.

...

At the very beginning, the Sludge Villain was quite normal. Since no one spoke to him, he began to talk to himself, saying messy things that Orion couldn't understand.

After about eight hours passed, the Sludge Villain's behavior started to become a bit abnormal. He would burst into tears from time to time, as if he had developed paranoia.

Thirty hours later, the Sludge Villain could no longer endure it. He began to walk around randomly and even kept banging against the walls.

However, this was merely an illusion. Let him bang as he pleased; not a single scratch would appear.

Of course, the sensation of pain would not be reduced.

After forty hours, the Sludge Villain began to hallucinate. He was in a state of despair, on the verge of collapse.

He screamed and shouted incessantly. Unable to find a wall, he kept pounding the ground with his head.

"Tsk tsk, only forty hours and you can't take it anymore?" In the darkness, Orion's figure gradually emerged. "I originally prepared another great gift for you."

Seeing Orion, the Sludge Villain looked as if he had seen the dawn. He ran forward at extreme speed and hugged Orion's thigh. "I beg you, let me out. I was wrong, I was really wrong, I beg you..."

In a state bordering on collapse, the Sludge Villain couldn't care about anything else. Right now, he just wanted to get out, the sooner the better.

Hearing this, Orion squatted down and looked at the Sludge Villain with a smile. "A great gift can't be prepared in vain. Whether you are willing or not, I must give it to you."

"Wha..." The Sludge Villain's pupils contracted violently. Before he could react, he found himself firmly tied to a cross. He couldn't use his Quirk, nor could he move.

The deathly silence and darkness faded, and everything around turned into a blinding crimson. In the sky hung a blood-red moon.

Orion had appeared in front of the Sludge Villain at some point, holding a blood-red, exquisite dagger in his hand.

"Originally, this great gift was meant to last for three days. But looking at your state, you probably can't last that long." Orion played with the dagger in his hand and laughed, "I'll give you one day's worth."

Under normal circumstances, ordinary sharp weapons couldn't hurt the Sludge Villain. However, this was the illusion created by Orion; everything here was under Orion's control.

"Pfft!"

"Ah!!!"

The dagger accurately inserted into the Sludge Villain's body. No blood flowed out, but the intense pain caused his eyes to fill with bloodshot veins.

...

The Sludge Villain stayed in the illusion for nearly three days, but in reality, it was only an instant.

The moment he returned to the real world, the Sludge Villain felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted. He collapsed to the ground and fainted dead away.

At this moment, he felt how beautiful this world was.

"Huh?" Seeing the monster he had been fighting for a long time suddenly fall down, Bakugō Katsuki looked confused.

Recalling the conversation between the opponent and the Sludge Villain just now, Bakugō Katsuki couldn't help but turn his gaze to Orion. "What did you do?"

Right now, standing here, there were only two people capable of fighting the Sludge Villain, so Orion was the biggest suspect. It could even be said that Bakugō Katsuki was one hundred percent sure Orion did it.

At this time, Orion's eyes returned to normal. He turned his head to glance at Bakugō Katsuki, then walked outward without looking back.

"Nothing, just let him have a good sleep."
