Chapter 13 - First Arrival in the Human World

The night sky above Suncity Castle shimmered as a silver light tore gently through the air.

Lunar stepped out of the glowing portal — her first step into the human world.

She paused.

Everything felt different.

The air was heavier… warmer… unfamiliar.

Her white hair flowed behind her like liquid moonlight, and her pale eyes widened as she looked around at the enormous palace, the golden towers, the burning torches. This world was louder than hers — alive in a way she had never known.

Lunar (whispering):"So… this is the human world."

She carefully touched the marble floor, as if afraid it might vanish.

Suddenly—

Voices echoed from inside the corridor.

Guards were approaching.

Lunar instinctively stepped back into the shadows, her cloak blending with the pale light. She didn't want to be seen — not yet.

Meanwhile, from the opposite side of the hall, Roy walked forward with steady, confident steps, speaking to a soldier beside him.

He stopped.

He felt something.

A strange chill in the warm air.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

Roy:"Did you feel that?"

The guard looked confused.

Guard:"Feel what, my lord?"

Roy scanned the corridor, but Lunar was already hidden behind a tall pillar, silently watching him — curious about this unfamiliar human with fire in his presence.

Two strangers.

Two worlds.

Standing only a few steps apart…

Without knowing the other existed.

Lunar pressed her hand against her chest, sensing something she couldn't understand.

Not fear.

Not danger.

Something new.

Lunar (softly):"Humans… are strange."

The torches flickered between warm flame and pale moonlight — as if the castle itself knew that destiny had quietly arrived.
