Chapter 14 - Episode 6 — First Shelter

The rain hammered down on Suncity Castle, turning the garden into a blur of silver water.

Roy stood under the side roof, observing the white figure in the storm — a girl, drenched, trembling, glowing faintly in the dark.

He didn't rush forward. He didn't speak yet. His cold, calculating eyes missed nothing — every movement, every shimmer of magic around her. He felt nothing… yet everything about her was strange.

Finally, he stepped forward, his black and fire-colored cloak flaring behind him, and with a single motion, lifted her effortlessly.

Lunar(shivering): "I… I don't belong here…"

Roy's face didn't soften. Not even a flicker of warmth.

Roy (cold, clipped): "Stay quiet. Any noise, and you'll be seen."

He carried her inside silently, his boots splashing in puddles, the storm reflecting off the sharp angles of his armor. Every movement precise, controlled, intimidating.

Inside the palace, the warmth of the torchlight contrasted with his cold presence. He set her down on a bench, standing a few feet away, arms crossed. His icy gaze never left her.

Roy:"Who are you? Why are you here? And don't lie."

Lunar, startled by the intensity, pressed her hand to her chest. She had never faced a human like this. His aura was sharp, unapproachable — cold as winter ice, with fire hiding underneath.

Lunar (thinking):"I have to hide… I cannot let him know I'm a fairy."

Roy (still cold, observing her every move):"No one else came with you?"

Lunar (softly):"I… came alone."
