Elian stood beside Cassian's carriage, watching Lucien and Rowena enter the royal carriage.
He clenched his fists beside him as he saw Lucien help Rowena in.
'Soon, these facades will come to an end,' he thought to himself.
He saw Lucien glance briefly at him before climbing in with Rowena. His heart hurt so much and he hated Rowena for it.
"Are you ready to leave?" Cassian asked behind Elian.
Elian sighed, the sound of Lucien's royal carriage driving over gravel filled the evening air.
He nodded, "We were invited, were we not?" He muttered and faced Cassian.
Cassian offered a small smile, "I guess we were."
Elian glanced around and saw Soren helping Finn inside the carriage while Rowan stood beside them. Then in a close distance was Chester, listening to something his coachman was saying and his face did not look pleased by whatever that was.
