"Bang!"
The sound and vibration of rumbling earth shook the countless buildings on the planet of Korvath. A planet located somewhere in the vast, infinite-like space that is the universe.
"Bang!"
Another crash is sent through the planet destroying many buildings and pieces of infrastructure in the process.
Looking up at the sky in horror were many Korvath civilians. Some hugging their family members tightly with tears in their eyes, saying their final goodbyes. Floating in the air was a giant hulking figure with rocky, gray skin, as well as a pair of flowing red eyes. Only destruction seemed to followed in its wake as it let out a wide, menacing grin. This figure is known by many across the universe as Darkseid, holding many titles. Conqueror, Ruler, Monster. He is the embodiment of absolute evil and darkness throughout the universe.
On the other side of the planet, a young man was flying hastily in a lab, clicking buttons in one corner of the room before preparing pieces of technology on the other. He was preparing a ship to flee his collapsing planet. The boy was unfortunately the only surviving member of his destroyed village, leaving him without his family and friends. Left alone to face extinction. The boy clicked a few buttons on a nearby holographic screen, ignoring the rumbling earth that shook the building, before tapping a singular large button on the screen, making the small gray ship that sat in the centre of the lab roar to life with a hum, accompanied by a soft heavenly glow. Without a second thought, the man levitated quickly into the ship after hastily pressing a few more buttons on the screen in front of him. He climbed in before shutting the see-through entrance door behind him, using one of the holographic screens inside the ship to do so. He double checked fuel levels, basically the whole kit and caboodle when it comes to flying one of these ships. After a few moments, the ship began to fly upwards through the roof which had began to part slowly. Without hesitation, the space craft shot up into the air at insane speeds, the man inside doing up one of these straps to keep him stable whilst also holding onto the empty seat beside him. The ship travelled through the planets atmosphere before arriving in space in just moments. The man had set the destination to a distant planet, one that would get him far away from the monster that is Darkseid. One that would ensure his survival.
But suddenly, before the man could start his long journey, Korvath suddenly exploded, sending his ship careening through space. Korvath was now no more. The man looked on in horror. His friends. His family. His home. All destroyed in an instant. What was once a regular day like any other was now one that he would have to live with for the rest of his long, long life. The large shockwave that was sent from the exploding planet caused the man to violently tumble around the ship, which unfortunately for him, knocked him out whilst also causing the strap to unbuckle by mistake, sending the man tumbling around inside the ship. His clothing ripped, but most importantly of all, he accidentally changed the destination he was supposed to go to by slamming into the navigation system whilst unconscious and tumbling uncontrollably. He was supposed to go to a distant planet. One far away from the threat of Darkseid or any other cosmic threats, but was now unknowingly about to travel to an unknown planet by the name of Earth. The ship then roared once more as it begin to travel at unimaginable speeds, escaping the oncoming explosion that was once his beautiful home.

Much time later…
It was midnight. The stars were shining brightly above a large farm and the bright full moon was illuminating the earth with a bright, beautiful glow. The forever stretching crops were whistling in the wind peacefully, accompanied by the whispers and squeaks of bugs and small animals… before it was all ruined by the sudden crash and bang of an unidentified object. The object slammed and scraped across the once unbothered soil, bobbing up and down before sinking into the dirt once and for all. Moments passed and the object had come to a messy stop just outside of the crops, laying next to a big barn house. The object seemed to let off a soft deep hum before it began to blink a heavenly light, which stopped moments later. The front of the object then proceeded to open with suspense. Sort of like a scene you would see in a sci-fi film.
Just like they had been through hell and back, a tall figure stumbled out from inside the object. After a few shaky and slow steps, it then fell onto the dirt, their hands, digging into the soil to help crawl themselves forward before suddenly going limp, seemingly falling unconscious. It seems they had an exhausting and rocky journey.
Not long after, the sound of a door crashing open echoed through the air before the sudden bark of a dog soon followed. "Roof, Roof Roof!" A large, Border Collie comes running from a lone house that sat in the centre of the farm, which was soon accompanied by a young woman dressed in a pair of pyjamas wielding a flashlight. "Go get 'em girl!" A female voice yelled out to the sprinting dog.
The dog quickly arrived at the figures body, barking continuously for around a good 30 seconds before moving closer with curiousness to sniff them. After coming to the conclusion that the entity was not a threat due to its still position, the dog moved closer to inspect the figure with is big wet nose. The woman followed quickly after the dog, her long black hair swaying in the wind before finally arriving at the loud commotion that she had heard whilst blow drying her hair before bed.
The young woman was panting softly. She raised the arm carrying the flashlight slowly, shinning the bright light onto the figure. What she revealed was a large male who was faced down. They had a tall, lean but muscular body and they appeared to he around the age of 20 to 25 years old. He had disheveled spiky black hair and what looked to be a pair of ripped grey clothing, as well as a large, crashed object that lay stationary behind the man which was covered in dirt. There was also a massive ditch in the crop field which the woman furiously glared at before returning her attention to the more important matter at hand. Regaining her sense of logic, the woman's eyes widened for a moment as she looked at what looked to be a space ship and a man unconscious in front of her before saying a few reasonable words out loud. "What the fu-"

8 years later…
"Waaaaaaa! Waaaaaa!" The sound of a newborn child's cry's could be heard throughout the hospital room. An exhausted mother laid down with her head against a pillow. Some of her long black hair stuck to her glistening forehead from the sweat, breathing heavily from pain and exhaustion, but also the contrasting feelings of relief and excitement. Today was a big day. Probably one of the biggest days a mother and father could ever experience in their lifetime. And today, the beautiful honour and joy of having a child was granted to Adam and Julie Quinn.
The skilled doctor in charge of managing the childbirth carefully picked up the crying child in her hands. "Yep. It's a boy. He's healthy too. Great pair of lungs." She says professionally but with a hint of happiness before handing the child softly to his mother, which she carefully grabs and holds in her arms. "It's our baby…" Julie says whilst lovingly glancing between the newborn and her husband, who slowly rubbed circles on the woman's back with care as a smile spread across his face. "What should we name him?" Adam curiously asked to his exhausted wife as he too was glancing between his wife and child before ultimately settling onto his wailing child. Before replying, Julie smiled brightly. "Jackson… Jackson Quinn." The mother spoke softly, letting the child grab onto her index finger.

(Quite a yap but please read. Important stuff!!!)
Hey readers, this is actually the first story I have ever written. I am in high school at the moment so don't expect some genius level writing but I would absolutely love some feedback as well as countless ideas for future chapters. I think it would be great to cater some of my future plans towards you guys watching so if you have an idea, you know what to do.
Also, just to give you a little sneak peak on what you'll see in the story, this story is set in the DCEU and if you don't know what that means, it means DC Extended Universe. Obviously, I'm planning for this fic to be centred around action, but I am a big fan of romance and some slice of life stuff so that will also be included. Also, I'm not really into the idea of a harem. I think the idea of the main character sticking to one or two love interests is enough for me and hopefully for you too. I think it makes things less complicated as well as also giving me the chance to write some cool slice of life stuff regarding the romance in this story. Also, just to let you know again, if you have any questions or recommendations for the story, I would be very happy to hear them, no matter what it is.
Just to give some perspective, the planet at the begging called Korvath is completely made up by me. It is just used to give the MC in the future his powers. I was thinking of adding viltrumites to this story but I feel that would make things quite complicated in the long run so I went with the idea of creating a fake planet just to give reason for the main characters powers, and then focus on the universe of DC. But, if a lot of you guys really want to see it, I can give it some proper planning and thought, and potentially change a few things around the make it work out. Also, there will be a lot themes in this story that are inspired by other fan-fictions and shows. I am also basing the main characters powers of those of a viltrumites. Although, I don't really like an overpowered main character so he won the as strong as a viltrumite off the bat. Obviously he will grow through battle and experience but don't expect a crazy OP MC.
Like I said before, I'm still in high school and have a few weights on my shoulders so don't expect top tier writing and very very frequent posts. Once again, tips and suggestions would be absolutely amazing for me so I encourage it heavily. I'm learning, and I wish to learn more, so don't be afraid to help me out. This is also a Self Insert if you haven't guessed already. The main character which you will see next chapter is made up but I think you'll like him. He is the baby in the end of the chapter.
Don't be afraid to correct me on pieces of knowledge about the DC characters and universe and also call me out on grammar or spelling mistakes!!!
One last thing, I'm guessing you can probably tell where I got the inspiration for the title of this fic is from. It sounds and basically has a similar meaning to the word, "Invincible." Which you probably already know is a TV show. So yeah.
Sorry for dragging this but I promise, last thing. Just for some spice, I may throw in some villains from other shows and movies. Tell me if you like that idea and if you do, give me an idea for characters or villains to introduce.
