Chapter 6 - Chapter 6. Experience in the Wild

Chapter 6: Wilderness Training

Unbeknownst to them, after this cultivation season, a brutal wilderness training would immediately commence, starting with the elite class.

"Fan Ge, the training is starting soon!" Zhang Xiao Hou, upon hearing the news, was full of excitement, completely different from the reactions of others, even appearing to look forward to it.

His eyes sparkled with anticipation, as if he was full of confidence for the upcoming training.

"Hmm, training is also a form of assessment. You might even encounter demon beasts, are you scared, Monkey?" Mo Fan looked at Zhang Xiao Hou, a hint of concern in his eyes.

He naturally knew that there wouldn't be too much danger in this training.

However, as a Mage, one should always remain vigilant after leaving the City.

"With Fan Ge here, I'm not scared," Zhang Xiao Hou said without any hesitation.

His tone was firm, and his eyes were full of trust in Mo Fan.

In his opinion, as long as Mo Fan was by his side, there was no difficulty that could not be overcome.

"You really have a mysterious trust in me, Monkey," Mo Fan chuckled helplessly, but a warm current surged in his heart.

He knew that Zhang Xiao Hou had always been full of trust in him, and this trust made him feel incredibly comforted.

Although he wasn't sure when or how this trust began.

But this little brother was truly consistent.

"It's only right, I've always believed in Fan Ge," Zhang Xiao Hou said earnestly.

His eyes were full of determination, as if this trust was innate.

He believed in Mo Fan's strength and courage, believing that in any dangerous situation, Mo Fanwould be able to protect himself and those around him.

The eve of the training day.

Another half a year had passed, and Mo Fan had signed in enough shop gold coins for one Star Dust Experience Pill.

After some thought, Mo Fan chose to use this Experience Pill on his Wind Element.

His Fire Ignition was already at the second level, and his Lightning had received special attention during this period, so it could break through to the second level at any time.

However, his Wind Element would still take some time.

For a Youlang Beast, the output of Lightning and Fire Ignition was sufficient. What was currently lacking was displacement and protection.

He also didn't intend to engage in close combat with the Youlang Beast, and in such a situation, displacement was naturally more important.

And after using a Star Dust Experience Pill, the scale of his Wind Track also began to grow at a visible speed. Although the effect was not as exaggerated as the first time it was used for his Fire Ignition, nor as the second time, it still brought the scale of his Wind Element Star Dust close to that of his Fire Ignition.

One should know that he had also been paying attention to his Wind Element for a year.

But obviously, compared to taking pills, there was still a big gap.

As a result, it was his Lightning, which he had always focused on and was now giving special attention to, that had some gap.

But this was naturally even more sufficient!

Fire Ignition - Burning, Bone Incineration.

Thunder Mark - Lightning Imprint - Python Mark, Wild Whip.

Wind Track - Swift Movement, Flash Step.

Currently, there were only five, but the breakthrough of his Lightning should be imminent, which would mean a total of six skills!

Elementary Mages, even those with complete cultivation, only had three skills, while he, merely at elementary second level, already possessed six skills.

As for magic casting, Fire Ignition only required 3 seconds, while Thunder Mark and Wind Trackwould take about 4 seconds.

One should know that currently, it took students in the elite class about 5 to 10 seconds to successfully cast a magic skill, so Mo Fan was already absolutely ahead in terms of casting speed.

Especially since he controlled three magic elements' star particles!

This shows that although Mo Fan had more convenience, he never stopped cultivating.

The next day, the first batch of elite class students for training were divided into five groups and set off on a bus.

The route for this trip had also been roughly decided; they would head to Xuefeng Mountain Station.

Xuefeng Mountain Station is an important small village for the Hunter Mages of the Hunter Union to connect with Bo City's supplies. The entire small village is built within a mountain valley.

Almost everyone here is a Mage, including Wei Fang Mages and also Hunter Mages.

It is like a sturdy fortress, guarding the safety of Bo City.

And outside Xuefeng Mountain Station, that is where demon beasts infest. This place is called beyond the safe zone, forming a stark contrast with the safe Station.

The world beyond the safe zone is filled with many demon beasts.

In the dense forests, various ferocious demon beasts might appear at any time, and if discovered, they would directly attack humans.

The rugged mountains and deep valleys also provide excellent hunting grounds for demon beasts.

There is no order or protection of human society here, only endless danger.

Of course, for brave adventurers and experienced Hunter Mages, beyond the safe zone is both a place full of opportunities and a place full of death threats.

Both the teachers and the instructors told them only one thing: with their strength, they were not suitable to go beyond the safe zone.

Mo Fan, however, didn't listen to any of this. The bus drove into the mountains for most of the day.

And it was during this journey that he successfully broke through to the second level of his Lightning.

Xuefeng Mountain Station was finally reached. Although it was called a small village, it was not a simple village or anything of the sort.

The Station village relied on incredibly steep cliffs on both sides, with the cliffs reaching a hundred meters high, requiring one to tilt their head completely back to see the sky.

The cliffs on both sides formed natural barriers, and combined with the fact that the front and back of this mountain valley path were locked by two giant stone gates, the entire Station village was completely a fortress town nestled in the mountain valley.

Upon arriving here, the leading teacher began to introduce the situation here.

Of course, he also stated that because of this sturdy stone gate, many demon beasts were blocked. In recent years, cases of demon beasts harming people have been rare.

Mo Fan felt a slight emotion: How could this stone gate make the City safe?

It was clearly because the rogue rats outside had bigger ideas.

After looking around here, the people from the other groups also arrived one after another.

There were sentry posts on both sides of the stone gate. One military Mage, not wearing a uniform, was leisurely playing with a cluster of Fire Ignition in his palm. The small flame was like an obedient pet, floating flexibly at his fingertips, occasionally even circling around his body, looking elegant and wondrous.

At this moment, Mo Fan also looked at the other person.

Regarding Zhan Kong, one could say opinions were mixed.

He didn't want to make any comments.

He only knew one thing clearly: he could not become him.

"Hey, Boss Zhan Kong, why are you on duty here today?" Mo Fan's assistant instructor, Luo Yunbo, looked up and said with a smile to the Fire Ignition Mage who was playing with the flames.

"Nothing to do, I heard a batch of high school girls are coming in today, so I specifically came to see," the man named Zhan Kong said with a chuckle, not hiding his true nature at all.

Zhan Kong teased the schoolgirls a few times, then let them enter.

The small village was very simple, with only one main road, which had many shops and stalls, looking no different from a market in a town.

However, what was sold here was not chicken, duck, fish, or meat, but rather things Mages needed for combat and cultivation.

For example, magic tools, for example, magic stones.

Magic stones come from nature, and they are important resources for both humans and demon beasts.

Demon beasts have an instinctive hostility towards humans.

Coupled with resource competition, this leads to an endless war between humans and demons.

Moreover, the magic world is particularly competitive. One should know that those who are eliminated are those who stand still.
