Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Hannah Grant's Space

"What are they thinking, wandering around in the rain like this? Do they have a death wish?"

The driver, Lewis, switched on the car's hazard lights, hoping the three of them would notice.

They had come specifically to inspect the final cleanup in this area, just in case any survivors had been missed.

"They don't look like survivors."

Elijah Young observed them for a moment. The three of them were clearly very well-equipped.

Two of them walked with a light spring in their step, not looking distressed in the slightest.

And it seemed the trio had noticed their vehicle as well.

One of them, a tall guy, even waved at them, hopping up and down to get their attention.

From inside his raincoat, Leo Hale gave the car a thumbs-up.

As they'd been walking, they saw that all the survivors on this road had already been evacuated. This made him deeply appreciate the rescue team's efforts.

Too bad the people in the car couldn't hear his praise.
