The Rainy Night
That night was strange.
Dark clouds filled the sky, and heavy rain poured down on the empty streets. The streetlights looked blurry through the falling drops of water.
Lina was running without an umbrella.
Her heart was beating fast. It felt like someone was following her.
"Why did I even come here…" she murmured to herself.
Suddenly, she saw a large hotel in front of her.
Without thinking, she pushed the door open and rushed inside.

Lina looked up.
A tall man stood in front of her. He was wearing a black suit. His eyes were cold and emotionless.
The man looked at her and said slowly,
"Watch where you're going."
His voice was calm but intimidating.
Lina felt a little scared.
"I'm sorry… I didn't notice," she said quietly.
The man stared at her for a few seconds.
His sharp gaze made Lina uncomfortable.
Then he walked past her without saying anything else.

That mysterious man's name was Adrian Black.
