Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : A Strange Coincidence

Laila walked into the library with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. The building was even more beautiful from the inside. Tall shelves filled with books reached almost to the ceiling, and the quiet atmosphere made the place feel peaceful.

It was exactly the kind of place she loved.

Her manager showed her around and explained her tasks for the day. Most of her work would involve organizing books, helping visitors find what they needed, and keeping the reading area quiet and comfortable.

As she began placing books on the shelves, she tried to focus on her work. But for some reason, her mind kept going back to the young man she had met outside.

Adam.

His calm voice and warm smile stayed in her thoughts.

About an hour later, she heard the sound of the library door opening. She didn't pay much attention at first, but then a familiar voice spoke softly at the reception desk.

"Good morning."

Laila slowly turned her head.

It was him.

Adam walked into the library carrying his notebook and a small bag. When he saw her standing between the shelves, a surprised smile appeared on his face.

"Well… this really is a coincidence," he said.

Laila laughed softly.

"I guess you weren't joking when you said you come here every day."

Adam stepped closer, looking around the quiet library.

"I'm a writer," he explained. "Or at least… I'm trying to become one. This place helps me think."

"A writer?" Laila asked with curiosity.

"Yes. I'm working on my first novel."

"That's amazing," she said sincerely.

Adam looked at her for a moment, as if he wanted to say something more.

"You know," he said, "sometimes the best stories begin with unexpected meetings."

Laila felt her heart beat slightly faster, though she didn't understand why.

Outside, the city continued its busy rhythm. But inside the quiet library, a small story had just begun—one that neither of them could have imagined.

And perhaps… it was only the beginning of something much bigger than either of them expected.
